Motel 6 Marion, IL

Overnight. Good price, bed, and service.

Did the job, nothing more, nothing less. Room was clean, dry and serviceable. Biggest complaint was the blower fan for the heat was very noisy. Also some of the other quests don't know what an insided voice is.

Out of all motel 6 I have been to one of the better ones by far could have been a little cleaner rather than that good

The person who checked me in was friendly and professional. The place is very clean and I got a great rate through Expedia!

Property and room was adequate for the rate. Room was missing the dinning table and chairs. I’m sure they were trying to upgrade the property. Also would have liked and iron and ironing board in the room but I guess you can’t complain when the rate is affordable. Other than that the property and room was clean and served the purpose.

This Motel 6 is a basic hotel. Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet, very nice front desk staff. Pet friendly. No charge Perfectly priced Great for 1 night stay.

Grounds outside were very pretty. The motel itself is showing its age with long cracks in the walls and old, outdated decor. The pets friendly policy is good if you only have 2 pets. You are not told of the 2 pets limit when reserving the room online. We had 3 pets with us, so they charged me $20/night for the extra pet.

Room was clean, AC wasn’t fully functioning, but it was enough to keep the humidity down. Office was vereeeerrrrry stinky, as was the hallways.

First and foremost this hotel charged my card hours before my arrival. When I booked this room, I booked “pay at hotel”. Why would they charge me way before check in time? Anywho, I booked 2 rooms with 2 adults and 2 children in each room. I requested adjoining rooms. Once I arrived to check-in, I was informed they don’t have adjoining rooms. So how convenient they put each room on a different floor. I asked if we could at least get rooms on the same floor and I was told they didn’t have any available. Ok now the good part. Go to the room, put our belongings away and leave out for a few hours. Come back for bedtime and lo and behold ROACHES GALORE! I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. I had never saw anything like this before. I had my small children with me and they were terrified. My 11 year old even said she wants to sleep in the car instead of staying at this place for the night. I called the front desk but they never answer. I opened my door and saw the manager and another employee in the hallway. I informed them of what was going on and they brought raid bug spray and sprayed the room. Lord that actually made it 10 times worse. Those roaches were coming out the woodworks! We were so disgusted and since it was already late at night I had no other options besides sleeping here or in the car. We were up killing bugs all night. Once daylight hit, I contacted support and let them know I can not stay here any longer.

Everything in my trip went well. The room was nice. Beds were comfortable, tv worked well, air worked great, everything in the bathroom worked well. The only thing is I won't be able to stay there again. The reason is because I am 63 with a bad knee. The tub was almost impossible to get into because of the height and once in the bottom of the tub was slick as snot! It's not safe for older patrons. If I'm younger it's a great place to stay on a budget.

Nothing fancy, but a fair value for the price. I appreciated that the clerk had my key waiting for me, after I had to stand behind two others who apparently were booking rooms on the fly.

Everything was fantastic. Motel very clean and room was exceptional Owners were great.

Good clean place to stay! Definitely would stay again.
