Rooms were renovated and very nice. Exceeded expectations. Just a bit small for a family but it’s Motel 6. Overall I was pleased (:

The property looks old and needs maintenance. The pool area was filthy. It's definitely not a place to stay with teenagers and children. Neighbors were extremely loud throughout the night we could hear them thru the walls. The street traffic was too loud. Definitely not a quiet place we had a restless night.

The beds were comfortable, it had the normal motel 6 smell in room, cleaning lady was friendly and gave us clean sheets and such. Overall was a good stay! Close to a lot of the things we wanted to do as tourist-aquarium and fisherman wharf.

I booked online and added 2 more days on line, when I went in to have card keys reprogrammed the man said I should have come in and paid in person to avoid check out 11 and back in at 3. Our house burned down and motel 6 was pet friendly ish. We are checking out and finding other the ⁴4⁴⁴1²²

We stayed 2 days. We went out all day, when came back, the key was not working, the room was not cleaned, it was not on the to be cleaned. The receptionist was not there at first we came to ask. And receptionist was not there when we checked out. It was just terrible.

Very basic, sparse but clean accomodation with comfortable bed and decent wifi. If I had booked a room at a motel just a 4 minute walk closer to downtown I would have paid $30-40/night more. Very good value for price. My Lyft driver told me the property was in the news and said to be slipping or "sinking". This caused no issues during my stay.

Bath tub was dirty and stained, random hair on my bed and they don’t even have the basic amenities like hand soap. You get what you pay for I suppose

The staff was great but my only complaint is that I was given a tiny room even after I had requested a room suitable for someone in a wheelchair. The other guest could barely move in the room on his wheelchair. Aside from that, our stay was good.

there were issues with the fridge and tv turning on and ease of use. we had to call office for help and get a service person to fix wiring on tv which took 30-40 minutes while i was in pjs. It was very embarrassing and they would not allot for any compensation. we met other guests with fridge issues where it wasn't even in the room. Good the year before but too many things wrong.

Decent hotel for the price. The beds are very firm (which i like) and the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Rooms appear to be recently updated. Personally when i go to monterey i prefer to be closer to the water and to downtown. But i think for the price its not bad.
