Motel 6 San Diego Airport - Harbor

Cleaners loudy playing music and yelling 1st thing in the morning. People coming and go all night yelling and fighting in carpark. People standing outside our rooms talking and smoking weed gassing our room out with my son in there.

Everything was good

AVOID THIS MOTEL.. We just need a place to sleep after a long drive and it was already late to move around to find another place to stay with 2 tired kids. We checked in at 10:30pm, The floor, bathroom door was dirty, the refrigerator had mold and no electricity in the bathroom outlets. In the morning we were woken up by a loud noise, turns out they were doing construction on the parking lot removing the concrete and my car was parked in the middle of all this. The receptionist never told us that they were doing work on the property so we could’ve moved our car that night. I called the lobby and the lady said there a signs all over and pretty much said move it. There was only a white paper on the front door that’s easily missed. Specially at night, I told her that the receptionist could’ve told us that last night, My is car full of black dirt with fingerprints. The pictures are misleading making it looked like it’s renovated. Honestly it was affordable but not worth it at all. This place should not even be as a listing.

I was unhappy with staff. I got out of shower noticed I didn’t have clean towels called front desk gentleman told me he only had one towel & if I wanted it I could walk to the office to pick it up. I just got out of shower I need towel to dry myself off. Also front desk gave someone my room key without my permission.

Won’t stay here again

The shower doors dont keep water off the bathroom floor. Bathroom floods. A few roaches were found running around the bathroom. Room floor needs a good mopping.

Really appreciate the location from the airport! I like to sleep in as long as I can before heading to the airport and this Motel makes that possible. After all my traveling before heading home, the extra rest is a huge welcome!

Staff, location, property were all great. A bit too close to the airport, guests can definitely hear the planes landing/taking off for most of the day.

The pictures made hotel seem like a nice place to stay however staff didnt have our room ready by check in time. Still gave us room however room seemed to be cleaned half fast. The area the hotel was located is bit deceiving as well. Not a nice area to walk around in

Creepy area, roach infestation. They have remodeled but I had a feeling when I saw the oddly thick caulking on every single gap that there were roaches. Correct. I was on level 2 so I can only imagine level 1. Looks like some full time residents also, one guy sitting in a lawn chair outside a room talking to himself decided he wanting to try to to talk to me, too. Solo female traveler here and I was double bolting the door and shutting the windows ASAP.

Not too bad for a Motel 6 Close to airport and cruise terminal Planes fly low overhead accounts for noise Very tidy Dining choices about four blocks walk Strayed one night no issues Has fridge good cable tv and heat Good overall budget stay

To much noise

Noise landing airplanes right above the motel, we found a couple cockroaches people were smoking, people don’t obey the rules

Neighborhood

This was more than I expected from a Motel 6. Clean, updated room, close walking proximity to Marine base and Little Italy. Helpful staff. May not be a Wyndam but couldnt beat the value. I plan on staying there again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful

Was a good affordable option in a good area and close to airport. Check in/out was quick and easy. Room was comfortable. Stayed there on both bookend days of my trip, due to being close to airport, and if was great for my needs. Would gladly stay there again. Only complaint is that it was clear the floor wasnt mopped before our arrival the second night stay.
