Omni Houston Hotel

Lovely hotel, great room.

I love riding a reason to stay at the Omni. The staff is wonderful and so welcoming. They put a priority on treating guests well, and it shows. On our most recent trip, I was traveling with my 2yo daughter and they gave her a gift bag at check-in, which was so helpful in keeping occupied.

The hotel and its amenities were amazing. The hotel also offered a free shuttle in a three-mile radius which was great, because there isn’t really anything walkable from the Omni.

The staff was reallg nice and helpful, great stop to get around Houston and clean nice property.

Overall, it was a great stay! The pool and workout facility are nice. The free shuttle within 3 miles is excellent. Good product in the room and three waters. The property is pretty and were kind and helpful. It wasn’t very busy and so it was quiet which was nice. The negatives would be the paint chipping off the bottom of the walls and we had to ask the front desk multiple times for things like coffee refills but other than that it was a wonderful stay.

They Did An Amazing Job With The Massage For My Fiancé Birthday. They Sent A Bottle Of Wine To The Room For Us. The Food Was Amazing And The Staff Was Very Helpful

I've stayed at this Omni over the last 20 years once every year or two. The location is wonderful. In the middle of the city, but surrounded by nature. They excel at cleanliness and service. Valets were awesome as was the front desk and anyone I worked with (spa front desk as well). But, it's clear that Omni isn't nearly as busy as it used to be and it seems they are reducing investment here. The room I got was large with separate living room and bedroom so you would think (from online photos) you'd get at least a bathtub/shower combo for a nice soak. Only a stand up shower was were a bathtub clearly used to be. I noticed that the little gift shop/snack store downstairs is no more as well. Years ago they eliminated the hot tubs in the lower level too. The rooms are comfortable but the decor is decidedly dated.. but in good condition. I visited Mokara for a massage. It was very clean but the men's steam room was out of service, the jacuzzi was above safe temperature by 5 to 6 degrees (I informed the staff and they apologized) and the dry sauna temp gauge was stuck and it seemed the sauna had trouble getting hot enough. The digital controls read 82 degrees no matter how hot you set it. Sadly, the massage I received was not what you'd expect at a luxury hotel spa either. Not horrible, but not great. If you're just looking for a solid, comfortable, clean and quiet room, Omni is still a great choice.. but they've lost their former splendor it seems.

The Bell Hop Alex/Alec was awesome. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left he made us feel like royalty.

We love the Omni BC they treat you well and it is so close to all the best places to shop and eat in Uptown.
