Omni Viking Lakes Hotel

Beautiful dining areas and reasonable prices were highlights. It was clean and welcoming with comfortable rooms. Most importantly... clean. The spa was disappointing because we couldn't visit just the sauna or just the steam room. We could only use those amenities if we booked a $200 per person service like massage or something.

My stay was comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

The best hotel stay I have had in years. The entire property was beautiful including the room, all of the staff was lovely, welcoming, and accommodating, and the dining was superb. Will definitely stay here anytime I am in the area.

Beautiful hotel!

Second time I’ve stayed - and will stay again. Room and amenities are great. Only complaint are the pillows -with they had a nice foam pillow, I’m not a fan of feather pillows

Was very hospital.

I got a room in what appeared to be low season so I feel I got very good value for what I paid for. The rooms and hotel are relatively new (was told 2020?) and are wonderfully decorated and proportioned. Overall, I felt like great value for money. One or two issues: 1) Even though the rooms are lovely--sized and decorated generously--the showers had surprisingly poor water pressure even though they have a rain/power option. May seem like a small thing but if you're trying to warm up after a freezing Minnesota day it is frustrating. 2) They have valet parking which is an extra fee per night. If you choose not to take it you have to park a surprising distance from the front door. Which again, in the summer is not an issue, but in -19 temperature, you kind of want to be near the door. Designed to make you choose valet perhaps? Finally, because there were not may guests the hotel staff while all lovely to talk to, were all a bit overstretched and were not as attentive. I found the food to be okay. Not great, not terrible. I'm pointing out the negatives because that is what I like to read in reviews, however, overall I found this to be a great value for a really nice hotel and I would stay there again for the price I paid. I'm sure it would be different in high season. (I didn't use the gym or pool facilities but they looked pretty nice.)

We stayed around the holidays and it was so beautiful. The staff were helpful and the rooms were very clean. We made a reservation at Kyndred Hearth which is worth it as they book quickly.

Beautiful hotel but I will never come back. I spent the little money I have for a nice night anniversary trip with my partner and the beds and pillows were so uncomfortable I woke up with a migraine that led me to throw up. I could not get comfortable at all. But beautiful hotel. Waste of money to go sleep at such a beautiful hotel with such an uncomfortable bed and pillows. I am 12 hours into the migraine still from it! It wasn’t there before I checked in so it was the crappy bed and pillows.

Hotel is very clean and facilities are well maintained. Location is perfect for a staycation and dining options are excellent! We will come back.
