Quality Inn South Lake Tahoe

Was very cold on arrival and heater took 5 to 6 hours to warm up the room. Water in shower was not hot.

It was very Clean and Quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient and affordable to bring my dog

I always stay here when I go skiing. There are no frills but the place has always served me well. The staff is friendly, decent rooms, good location, easy parking (if you arrive early on a busy weekend lol), and free breakfast. Cant go wrong with that.

Good place to stay when skiing in Tahoe. Hot tub was small, maximum 7-8 people

Dining area is too small and crowded, long lines and wait times. Carpet /floor looks dirty, and the stay was super noisy. You can hear people staying in other rooms. Swimming pools are untidy and ungainly looking.

This property is average at best. Motel stile. Lots of imperfections in the room we stayed in. Visibly patched holes, lots of caulking all around. However the room looked extremely clean. The advertised hot tub is probably good for 3-5 adults, located outside, next to a gym(with no shower). It happened to be across the street from our room. So we opted not to go. Included breakfast will be equivalent to a 7/11. Coffee, cereals, microwaveable sandwiches. Again we chose not to try it, there are better options close by. This hotel is close to the lake, and Heavenly gondola. It’s a good place to spend a night before hitting the slopes. But don’t expect much more. Cheers!

Old rooms, air conditioning is very noisy but without it it was just cold. The bathroom was dirty, mold, hair. They said they'd come to clean up, but no one came. At breakfast, people crowded, there was no free space.

Bed & pillows are very comfortable simular to Hilton or Marriot, room is a little small compares to others, front desk customer service was awlsome!

Good location

Plusses: great location, close to dining, shopping and the Heavenly gondola. Friendly, helpful staff, price reasonable for Tahoe during the holidays. Beds were more comfortable than most in this price range, and our room was clean when we arrived. Hot tub was plenty warm for soaking the legs after skiing. Breakfast included is both a plus and a minus. Minus: really only one, but it’s a big one, and certainly no reflection on the pleasant, hard-working staff. Paper-thin walls and flimsy doors turn the building into an echo chamber. We were given a room with a connecting door to the room next door, and could clearly hear every word our neighbors uttered, as well as the usual footsteps, bumps, toilet flushes, etc. Thankfully they were a quiet couple and not a boisterous crowd, but that’s random luck. The entry door had a quarter-inch plus gap on three sides, so every barking dog and shouting child sounded like they were practically in our room. About the breakfast- nice that it’s included, very basic (mostly starches) and not nearly enough space for holiday crowds, but you can definitely fill yourself up on waffles, pancakes, cereal, toast, bagels, etc, (and there is yogurt and a microwave sausage sandwich for protein). I preferred to make my own coffee, (but I’m a coffee snob). Keurig in the room. So if you have a high tolerance for noise, don’t mind hearing everything that goes on all night long, it’s a relative bargain, but I wouldn’t return unless really desperate.

Nice area

Great affordable place to stay. I like the convenience of having the stores and restaurants within walking distance. The best part is that it’s pet friendly. The only down side was how busy and crowded the breakfast area was. People just don’t know how to be polite and considerate.

Terrible. You get what you pay for is an understatement. The walls are paper thin and couldn’t sleep due to neighboring rooms partying at 1-3am, place is dirty, paint coming off walls, I had to park at another hotel because although I had a room I had nowhere to park. I wouldn’t stay here again and honestly should be given a refund. I’d advise anyone to give it a miss.
