The property is well maintained. There is complimentary shuttle service from and to MIA. There are restaurants in the property, vending machines are available as well. Hassle-free check-in and check-out. I only had carryon luggage with me hence a room at the second floor was not a trouble. I felt comfortable and safe in my room. I only stayed for a night due to a long layover so I was not able to use the pool nor the gym. McDonald's is in a close proximity, there is also a convenience store nearby.
A big thanks to the staff of Ramada hotel for a safe and relaxing stay.

There were roaches in our room (#235). The hotel only refunded $17.85 even though we paid over $89 for the room. Had to have our luggage and contents heat treated which cost us hundreds! They also have the pool blocked off even though they don’t advertise that it’s closed.

The good thing about the hotel was that it was close to the airport and it provided on-sight booking for transfers to the Port of Miami. However, the walls of the room were so thin, we heard the conversations of the people in the next room when they were just talking in their normal voices. Then we had kids that ran down the hall and knocked on everyone's door at 2AM. Just a very noisy hotel. Overall, just sort of cheap and you could tell that the management put the minimal amount of money into the hotel to make it presentable.

The rooms were fine and reasonably priced. My only issue was waiting about 1 hr for the shuttle. I called the hotel three times to get put on hold and eventually disconnected. All I wanted to know is if I was supposed to call or just stand there and wait. On my fourth try a kind gentleman answered and told me the shuttle would be on its way soon. That’s all I needed. it would be nice if on their hold message they had some of that information as I stood there forever on hold.

Arrived early for Check-in, I was told there were no rooms available however after providing a copy of my ID & contact numbers to be contacted when rooms are available.. I was not. I was actually sitting in the lobby waiting when a couple that did not have a reservation were able to make a reservation w/ early check/in. At which, I went to front desk to confirm early check in was available.
The room appeared very clean & quiet until I saw 2 roaches.

Lady at the desk was quite rude. Mostly Spanish speaking and get annoyed when you ask them something or speak English. Asked for a spoon and said they don’t have any when they do by the vending machine. I happened to find it myself on accident. Hotel is decent and quiet. I had cleaning wipes and cleaned some things in the room but overall the room was fine and it was cheap and close to airport and Miami Beach etc.
