Ramada by Wyndham Modesto Yosemite Area

Came to town to visit the Funworks theme park, and definitely Enjoyed our stay - easy and convenient with a Dennys in the same parking lot, and a Dutch Bros coffee shop literally across the street … great staff and location - so much near by for all our needs

Cleanish and comfortable enough. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke which could have been coming in from the air-conditioning unit but none the less was not pleasant. The curtains let in a lot of light which made it hard for me to sleep. Not the worst hotel ever. The breakfast was suitable.

Very dirty carpet now end tables was asked to pay $40 for late check out one hour very less lighting bathroom floors were very cold

Costumer service was horrible a was clean the ask 250 $ to deposit I was for business and didn't have refrigerator and microwave I will not use the hotel again

The hotel was clean and comfortable and was exactly what we needed. The breakfast each morning was delicious. We were not expecting a hot breakfast at all! The staff was so great, we felt so welcome.

Comfortable and clean

The price online I was suppose to get a good value but there were hidden fees added once I got to the property and not able to cancel because room fees were already paid for. I should of stayed at any other hotel and I would've saved money. I asked everyday including when I came to the property for a handicap room. The whole 4 days I was there I was not able to get one I use a walker. It is hard to get around in a walker on the side they put me on where there is no handicap access the doors are heavy. I'm not asking for special treatment but the manager could of at least waved the fees since I was not able to get a handicap room the entire stay but I was charged extra just because I wanted a fridge and microwave. I guess they don't want food in the room then it should at least be clean in the room. The floors are filthy and the staff would not clean it if I was there. I have minimal issues at other hotels in the area. This hotel is probably the worse when it comes to customer service. The staff also made a big stink and didn't want to provide water and wanted to charge $4 for a bottle. This property just wanted to nickel and dime for anything they could. If I was going to spend over $100 a night on weekdays I would've been better off anywhere else at least it would have been cleaner and the staff maybe more considerate of a person with disabilities. I would recommend any other hotel than this one.

Convenient

I did cancel the reservation on time before check in, because no microwave, no refrigerator, no wifi, very smelly room, .. They call this piece of ... "Hotel " which is "Motel" . But they still charged my card and because of those BS forms of policy they won't refund them! BS indian scammers. I'm not recommending this place at all specially if you are traveling with family and kids. Not safe at all. Beware this is scam! Good luck...

Overall, my stay at this property was better than expected. It was clear that the property has been recently updated so the accommodations are nice for the price point. However, I did have some complaints: there are very few amenities in the room (no coffee pot, no microwave, and no mini fridge, for example), there was only hand lotion and no hand soap at the bathroom sink, and the lighting was very poor. Or room had a window that would have provided more light but then our entire room would have been visible to the patrons of Denny's directly across the parking lot. It was also very noisy--we could hear nearby rooms using the bathroom/shower, the doors near us slamming shut, people outside our room, etc. Thankfully my partner is a heavy sleeper and I wear earplugs to sleep so we were able to manage it but it could be harder for others. We felt safe there, overall, but I would have preferred to be on the 2nd floor or in another part of the property that didnt share space with a 24-hour business. In terms of location in the town, it was easy to access most areas and there were options for coffee and groceries nearby. I would stay there again for brief trips.

Clean room, comfortable bed. The building had been completely remodeled and it was in a convenient location for food and access to the fwy. All of the doors opened outside, which makes me a little nervous. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.
