Red Lion Hotel Pocatello

Exceptional customer service and the grounds/property is so pleasing. Spacious rooms and the pool atrium area is wonderful. Best choice if in or passing through the Pocatello area

We ventured onto this hotel after a lone day on the road and were able to find secure and well lit parking area.Greeted by friendly staff, we found our new on to be newly renovated and very comfortable. The hotel offers a good sized pool with a lovely courtyard adjacent. A free breakfast was appreciated. Proximity to fuel station and ease of access off highway are further positives. This place is large! If we lived nearby, I’d certainly stay again for team functions. If we ever head back that way, I’d most definitely stay again to explore the area.

This is my second night staying here and this morning when I got up, I thought I’m gonna try the pool in the Jacuzzi because I got some really sore muscles and stuff going on and the pool was halfway warm and the Jacuzzi was just almost cold when I tried to set the 10 minute dial the Jacuzzi actually Never did really warm up. It stayed that temperature so hot tub means hot water not cold or cool. I think they need to be told . As for anything else, it was pretty good. The food is great here the breakfast their buffet consisted of scrambled eggs and sausage and that was it course they had bread for toast and some waffles. It was more like a continental then it was a buffet, but it was not a bad stay here.

Room was roomy. Bed was very comfortable. Sheets very comfy

I would not consider myself high maintenance in the least but this hotel was next level filthy and disgusting! Upon arriving in our room we found dried puke all over the side of the chair cushion in our room and dried chunks stuck to the box spring of the bed! We pulled the sheets back in one bed (double queen room) and there were dark orange/red stains on the bed spread. The other bed was COVERED in black dog hair and grime- looked like a dog had just barely slept in it! The floor had definitely not been swept in a long time. We immediately asked for a new room and were put in a room that smelled like someone took a dump in right on the floor and the smell got progressively worse throughout the night! The bathroom floor was covered in peanut shells and hair and there was literally black mold growing in the corner of the wall of the shower/tub! If you are some kind of rodent, garbage puppy, or fly this is the hotel for you!! If you have any self respect you will RUN as far away from this hotel as possible!! If you have

Clean, quite and a great bed. The room had a refrigerator and microwave, extremely comfortable beds and very clean. The staff was very friendly both times I checked in and all interactions with them. Over all great place to stay and good price.

The hot tub didn't work the shower made super loud noises scared the crap outta my grandson he wouldn't take a bath or shower the floor was super dirty and the chair had a lot of stains on it was very dirty we weren't comfortable at all

As soon as we entered the hotel room there was dirt and crap on the floors and in the closet the walls were stained and the ceilings as well also the toilet seat was covered in pee and feces food left in the fridge. The staff was extremely pleasant though.

The sheets were dirty. I had to sleep on top of bedding.

The staff was excellent. Bed was very comfortable, however the bed was not anchored and it was on wheels so it would go sliding across the room, accident waiting to happen. Room was very spacious. Bathroom door the paint was peeling at the bottom.There was no elevator which made getting luggage to your room a little difficult. Loved that the pool and hot tub were inside. However I was so looking forward to soaking in the hot tub after driving. But the hot tub was cold and dirty same for the pool. No towels at pool side, I had to go to the front desk and ask for them. Which was done right away. I was told by staff that they had been having trouble with the pool and it worked on and off. Breakfast was cold sausage and eggs. This hotel desperately needs some renovation. Not worth the price your charging. Will not be staying here again.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel for the price, i wasnt expecting much but it turned out to be a great stay, we will stay again and pass the good review to others. The hot tub wasnt very hot but we still enjoyed it very much!

The breakfast wasn’t that good.

Good location. Property is older and tired ...which i could deal with. But... there was still stuff in the mini fridge from previous guest, there were no coffee cups, no coffee, the hot tub was... not even warm (didnt try the pool considering temp of hot tub), breakfast was medicore. It was just an overnight stop but i wouldnt recommend.
