Pam checked me in and was very friendly!! The bad was super comfy, room was clean. Red roof gets a bad rap, but this place was clean, didn’t smell like cigarettes, and provided a great bed. Would stay again

I was driving NE Iowa to FL with my cat. I needed a place in midway point to crash.
I was getting tired, cat was getting hungry, so use this App to find this pet friendly roadside hotel. Super friendly receptionist. I checked in around 8PM. I was out by 6 AM next morning. Everything was outdated (Room, bed, interior, bathroom, etc.) but far for the price I pay for a night with a cat.

Convenient location, cheap price, loved that our dog stayed free and great customer service. However beds are very hard and noisy, bathroom was in disrepair and room was visibly dirty.

Sheets and bathroom towels were white, shower water was hot, hotel needs updating. A lot of outside light comes through the window even with the curtain closed all night long. Hotel needs updating.

The shower and sink would not drain. Shower accumulated ankle deep water during one shower. It was 92° in the room when we entered and smelled of cigarettes even though we were in a non smoking room. No amenities or coffee in the lobby. Staff was fine. A random crack head knocked on the door asking for money at one point. Place felt unsafe and was definitely not clean. Still scared we brought home bed bugs. But can't confirm yet.
