Quiet, comfortable bed, clean. Friendly staff.

First time staying here at Rockview Inn and we were welcomed and greeted graciously by the general manager at check in. Our room was easily located and super clean. Comfortable bed and very spacious with lots of tv channels. Highly recommend this Inn and we will be returning very soon.

My partner and I had a great stay here over the new years holiday. We typically stay at another hotel in Morro Bay, however it was booked during this time, so we took a chance and stayed somewhere different. We were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff and how clean the room was. The property has clearly been updated, with comfortable beds and nice televisions. We had no issues whatsoever and we gladly stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful managers. Close to Morro Rock - my husband enjoyed being able to walk down to the harbor each morning for photography.

A dog in the room next door barked a few times during the night and then constantly in the morning. The employees didn't seem to care. When I checked out I wasn't asked how my stay was, so I didn't bother to share my disappointment.

A great, independent family run hotel that was having renovations when we stayed. The room was very clean, and didn’t smell of strong detergent. The bed was very firm and comfortable. The property is quiet and attractive with landscaping. Excellent location in walking distance of shops/ restaurants/ the bay. We would definitely stay there again. They were very accommodating with our one pet and one service animal as well.

It’s Morro Bay.. special. Room is big, clean, and very cute with a small table and chairs included in the usual amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place was a decent place. Everything went well nice and quiet. The only thing I struggled with was the parking for the trucks you had to grab one at the end or park in the truck parking.

Great location—walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the bay!

Property was average. They allow pets, but no breakfast. Conveniently close to the embarcadero and the farmers market. Room was clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable for my old back. Room had updated items, tile bathroom and a nice vanity area. Included a refrigerator and TV, though we did not use either. Free WiFi was provided at checking. Property manager was efficient, but I wouldn't say friendly exactly. She didn't ask us if we needed anything at check in or how our stay was upon leaving. 3 things: - you hear everything. The insulation could be better so that you don't have to hear the neighbors t.v., the kids feet, or the rumble of voices. - We travel with a dog and we were put in the one room where 2 stray cats seem to live. The cats cried all night, right at our door, and my dog was actively trying to investigate the cats. All night. - water pressure in the shower is affected by other's use, so it fluctuates significantly. It didn't run out of hot water, thankfully, but you had to stand very close to the wall to be in the stream as it would weaken everytime a neighbor turned on their water.

I stay here regularly, because the owners are great and the rooms are exactly what I need without breaking the bank. They are nice, clean, comfortable and well priced.

It was a quick trip to morro bay for my spouse and I. Hotel staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. The only thing we would change is the bed. It was very hard and we woke up with sore backs. However the price was great so it a good deal at the price point.

Clean sheets but dirty carpet and walls.

Room was decent. Not sure why they charged an extra $25 for a dog. Not like the dog takes up much room. Overall it was decent.

Very nice little motel very close to shops and Morrow rock. Front desk was very nice room is clean.
