When I first walked into the office it smelled clean and looked clean. Thats was a gear sign. Front desk was very kind. I went to my room and it smelled great. Itnlolke perfect. Im happy I stayed here. It was very cheap and better than any other place. I travel a lot. This place is a gem. I stayed at a different hotel last night and you couldnt pay me to sleep at that horrible place ever again. I will stay here every time I come to Dubuque now.

This day was really great. I would recommend them. I will stay there again. Me and my family. We really liked it and we really were treated nice. Everybody was so friendly. If you had an issue they fixed it so quick.

The outstanding feature of this property is the people. Both the evening and morning shift were managed by individuals who were kind, thoughtful, and very helpful with my questions. They made our stay enjoyable and gave us a very good impression of Rodeway Inn--a hotel name we had not made use of in the past.

Room looked nice but this was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I’ve tossed and turned all night because it hurts to lay on one side for very long. My chest and back hurt. A sleeping bag on the floor may actually be more comfortable. Each room is only allowed 2 pillows, but they aren’t even full sized so my wife and I had to fold them in half for support. I’m writing this at 4AM because I can’t sleep and I’m only upset because we don’t leave for another 3 hours. Would sleep in my car before I came back here.

We entered rooms and they were horrible. Walked right out and asked for refund but they said we had to contact Hotels.com. Have gone round and round with Hotel.com and Rodeway inn and got no satisfaction. Filed a dispute with Visa

The room was tiny, drab and terribly noisy. The toilet was a child size toilet. Scary neighborhood. Definitely not worth what we paid. I would not stay there again at any price.

The immediately adjacent US20 is busy and very noisy. Hard to sleep.
The property was recently remodeled. Rooms are quite nice considering the price point.

I had a light tan bug in the tub the next morning after my shower. I then had a tiny black bug come out of my hair when I was getting my hair wet in the sink. A very unpleasant experience.

Check in was extremely unorganized. She didn't know what or how to charge for a pet. Hotel was pet friendly. Had me sign a paper that was incorrect and then called room to tll mecto come back to sign correct paper. I was told the dog could be in the room but no pet hair was allowed in room. Place was old a dump

We reserved 2 rooms with king sized beds. Both rooms had 2 double beds. Looked on the hotels website and they don’t have king beds. So why didn’t we at least get queens? Why didn’t anyone contact us to let us know? And the beds were hard as a rock. My friend’s door didn’t close at the top. Looked like it had been kicked in at one point. Kinda scary. Overall I was quite disappointed.

Check your bank account during and after stay. They will put unknown charges on your account. I paid in full on check in and had 2 more charges come up on my account and no one seemed to know why. I didn’t make them so someone there was making charges.

Owner charged the Expedia fee to me. Coffee pod was empty, not replaced after last rental. Bugs on floor of bathroom.
