Silver Slipper Casino & Hotel - Adults Only

The hotel is nice but dated. The facility is too far away from coast cities. The address is Bay St. Louis (which is why I booked it) however it is much closer to Waveland. I do not plan to return to this location.

Didn't like having to carry our luggage all the way thru the casino to the hotel side. No refrigerator or safe in the room unless you want to pay extra. Also most the machines are older ones.

Great location, very clean and nice rooms. The mattresses on the beds were in bad shape and uncomfortable. Would love a non-smoking casino area.

The room was nice had a great view of the bay. The food was good and was reasonably priced. The staff were very polite. When I checked in to my prepaid room I noticed there was a printed notice that the stated there would be no water in the hotel from midnight to 6:30 AM. There was no notice posted on the website about there being no water. Very inconvenient if you had to use the bathroom during the night. My reservation included a food and drink credit but when I checked the front desk did not give me the credit. I had to return to front desk and request the credit.

I'm not sure what hotel many of the reviewers stayed at but our stay was anything but above average to excellent. Check in was OK, the online version failed. Room was big enough but the carpet was pulling up from the wall. Bed was comfy and we had a Bay view so that was a plus. No maid service. Seriously. We spilled some coffee on the bed and called to have the sheets changed. A guy showed up with a pile of sheets and handed it to us and walked away. When we changed the sheets we found one of them with a sizable hole. Cafe has pretty good food, my blackened catfish po boy was quite tasty and they used a proper French roll. My wife had the au jus and enjoyed it. The packed sweets were another story. Stick to the brownie, the cinnamon rolls and muffins were dry. The buffet was good and it is worth just going to that. $50 with crab legs and plenty of peel and eat shrimp. They had snow and stone crab, dungeness was not available unfortunately but we pigged out anyway. The machines looked dated but I stick to video poker so a non issue. What I have never seen was free soda and coffee shop nooks. A water option would be nice but beggers can't be choosers. Will we stay here again? Probably not. Will we come back to the buffet? Probably.

Clean property - nice large rooms with good amenities (free water and coffee and feather pillow). Problems checking in with OneKey and had to return to check in for a real key. Otherwise check in was quick and easy. You do have to cross casino to access hotel elevator. Self parking is a little distance from entrance and portion of sidewalk was flooded from rains so had to walk on soaked grass a bit

We had an amazing time. I love that other than sightseeing, you never have to leave. The Palm Court and Blue Bayou restaurants are perfect. The steak we shared is definitely going in the books as one of the best ever. Thanks for an awesome couple of days.

Just the right place for a get a way trip for 53 third anniversary.

You check in with the app which is amazing! The rooms are always clean. Only a 45min drive to New Orleans !
