Our stay was very Nice . The hotel staff was friendly & very hospitable and very accommodating. Whatever we need it the hotel Manager & Saff made it Available for us .. this hotel is by far the nicest hotel i've seen in LA

The room was very nice. Clean belt was comfortable. Good amount of space. The property is beautiful very vacation friendly staycation friendly very relaxing. I really enjoyed my stay.

The Sonesta Select turned out to be a good stop prior to out cruise. The (free) shuttle arrived promptly at LAX after we called for it. The driver was very helpful and polite.
The check in experience went smooth. The clerk was friendly and welcoming.
Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had a good sleep.
Will stay here again.

Check in was routine. However once I found out I was on the first floor I asked if there was anything on a higher floor available because I know that I have very sensitive hearing that is impactful to me. I was told by the person checking me in, that there was no other option but since I was by the courtyard it would be quiet. And the associate didn’t even ask why I may need a different room. So I was subjected to a dusty smelly room near the exit doors on the busy side of the hall. It was not quiet. I didn’t feel safe in my room.

I did not get to stay there because the advertised airport shuttle was not available after 10:30 pm (I arrived after 11). Very disappointing.
It should advertise limited shuttle with time availability.

I had many problems contacting this hotel to advice them of our late arrival. The desk clerks are not trained well & have problems communicating with guests.
We booked a king bed room with a double sofa bed. Upon checking we asked for someone to come & make up the sofa bed. The clerk's reply was "we don't make up the sofa bed" After a long ridiculous conversation I asked for another blanket & 2 pillows (as there was 1 extra blanket & pillow in the closet) and made the bed up myself. We booked 2 rooms & will NEVER stay at this property again!

The carpet in the hallways was stale and smelled like beer. The rooms appeared clean but also had an unpleasant stale smell. On top of that there is a $200 incidental fee they charge at check in. Way nicer hotels charge $50 to $75. Im guessing they charge that much to keep the riff raff out. Which is indicative of the area that the hotel is in. The exterior windows were also dirty and I had a really grimey view of outside from my room. Overall it just wasn't a great experience.

This hotel has hot water, clean sheets, and comfortable beds. The room balconies are nice. The bathrooms are old and in need of remodeling. I was grateful for my shower and the bed. Quiet at night.

The property itself is fine and the beds are comfortable. I would not recommend this property if you have a car. They charge $30 a night just to self park in a open parking lot. It's literally like a shopping center parking lot. No gates, security or garage. Anyone from the street can just come and do whatever to your car because it's literally an open lot. I am not sure what we're paying for other that extra money just for them to pocket. $30 a night is very expensive just to park your own car just to basically stay at the property. I will not be staying there again.
