It was quiet and the staff were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

Booked this hotel due to hotel our friends were staying while in town for sons graduation was fully booked. Sonesta was right across the street from their hotel and I booked the 1 bedroom thinking it would be a good place for us all to visit as they had small children traveling with them. We checked in and immediately left to go meet everyone so at first glance room seemed ok. When we returned that night I noticed the restroom was dirty and used bottles of toiletries were left on the shelf but didn’t think much of it but then I went in the kitchen and opened the dishwasher to find dirty dishes from the previous guest, went to the bedroom to plug in chargers and noticed the nightstand was sticky and empty water bottle next to the nightstand which was not ours. I decided at that point I would ask the front desk if they had cleaning wipes so I could wipe things down but they did not have wipes and said they have paper towel in the rooms. I explained room was dirty and needed to be wiped down with a cleaner. They mixed me a bottle of cleaner and gave me gloves and a couple of cloths which I appreciated. I decided to wipe everything down as I knew our friends would be visiting Not only the old water bottle but a bra wire next to the bed, clothing tags in the same area which made it very clear that side of the bed had not been cleaned. Ice maker did not work. I wiped down the living and found trash behind chair and next to the couch.

The rooms are dirty and smell a lot of cigarettes.

You can tell just the bare minimum was done. Upon entry to the lobby the first noticeable things is how filthy the carpet is and then it gets worst as you make your way to the elevator. Thankfully the carpet on the second floor wasn’t as bad. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain. Shelving in the room was extremely dusty as well as the bedside lamps. The desk has cup rings. And the dishes in the dishwasher were not clean. The garbage disposal had a foul odor coming from it. And the recliner was broken.

My experience was great staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable very clean

just a very boring place

The staff was friendly. The room had party decorations left by another guest. Had a balloon behind the recliner and streamer on the curtain. Also had a laundry basket full of dirty towels in the closet. Also found a crusty towel in a drawer. I told the front desk and they said when house keeping comes in they would take care of the towels and I did not trust it so I took all the linens off and took them down. The manger spoke with me and apologized and cleaned and brought them up. Not sure if I would stay there again.

I've stayed at this property a few years ago and but it wasn’t this bad. The lady working up front was very nice and tried her best, but… Prior to the trip I received an email for a bid to upgrade our room at a discounted rate. Upon arriving the front desk staff state she could see an amount there but it was confusing as what it meant, she stated that the morning crew didn't leave her any notes to go off of just a list of clean/unclean rooms. She stated that she was the only person working in the property that. This was Friday around 8p. I told her the extra amount she was seeing was most likely for the upgrade. Upon checking my room, it was a regular room which was fine, I just did not want to be charged extra I asked her if I would be charged and she stated I shouldn't and that they had a few upgraded room open but they were all dirty except one, which was reserved. She told me she could go clean a room for me. I told her no because in my head it would not be cleaned property if she is not housekeeping. As we checked in my partner inspected the room for cleanliness and he noticed the nightstand was dirty, but I told him I'd clean it because we were both tired. As he went to the bathroom the toilet was stopped up, a plunger was in a bag and I noticed fingerprints on the microwave, then we noticed the chair was dirty. We moved to a new room, the bed was uncomfortable. The halls smelled of smoke. We checked out the next morning and went to the Hampton across the street
