My wife and I have stayed here over a dozen times. This is the best and most convent hotel in Monterey. It is simply wonderful. There were a couple of minor issues, but the hotel staff promptly resolved the issues to my satisfaction.

We loved the fire place in the room and it was very clean. The bed was comfy too.

Amazing staff and amazing location.

Amazing location right on Cannery row over looking McAbee beach. Guest Service is great and attentive. From valet, bell to front desk, and wine hour, everyone was great. Complimentary breakfast delivered to the room and nightly wine and cheese hour are added bonuses. Fireplace in the room and great view of cannery row, can’t beat it. Love the charm of the hotel and in room robes. Will be back

Great stay. Paid extra for upgrade for a room with a view of the ocean. The view was great, but next time I'll try to pay less ahead of time. Great service, good breakfast.

The most charming, romantic place, right out of a movie! High-quality linens, breakfast delivered each morning, a fireplace in the room, the best window seat, overlooking the beach. Walk straight out onto Cannery Row.

Nice place, right on Cannery Row. The place was very quiet. While we did have to deal with a valet for the car, they were always very prompt. We stayed over Christmas, which might have affected these things.

Quinn was such a sweet person. He treated us like we were royalty. He deserves a HUGE raise!!! The whole staff was great!!!

This is our 4th stay, we have stayed on every floor toward the ocean. 2nd floor over the restaurant is noisy. 3rd floor corner partially looks over the parking lot next door which is fine (and the room is a lot bigger and technically an upgrade). 4th floor has a raised ceiling and an extra window that can't be covered. But overall we keep coming back because everyone is friendly and the rooms are larger than the usual, and that little cove by the window has lights and total blackouts so we can hang as the toddler falls asleep. I think a few things could use a bit of maintenance like the shower fixtures were falling apart (but worked). But otherwise, we like the character and for the location (near aquarium and Ghirardelli) plus views plus service, we'll likely be back.

Romantic stay with my husband. The room was beautiful, and the fireplace added the perfect touch. Even though we faced the street, it was amazingly quiet through the night. Breakfast was delivered to our room and was such a treat to eat by the warm fireplace. We will definitely return!
