Staff were nice, very convenient to trolley (out front on St. Charles) and nearby Avenue Cafe (great breakfast & coffee); Looks like an older hotel that has been well maintained but could use some work in a few areas; Would stay again

I don't have time to sing all the praises I would like to about this hotel. It was one of the very best hotels we've stayed at in decades. Super clean, spacious, friendly staff, excellent location on the street car route, and (here's the best part for me) the AC unit purred like a quiet little kitten the whole time. For once, there was no rattle-trap cooling unit squawking and banging off and on all night, like we've had in far too many hotels. The room temp stayed perfect day and night and it didn't wake me up once. And the beds were comfy as well. I can't come up with even one slightly negative thing to say about the St. Charles Coach House. It was truly one of the best hotels we've stayed in.

This was a very nice place to stay. Even before I arrived I received texts asking if I needed anything. The main reasons I picked this hotel was that it looked nice and had parking. Well the parking was a nice bonus and the room was really nice! Everything was perfect with the room except for two tiny things. The fire alarm battery was missing and the stand up lamp was missing a bulb. The only thing that they could add would be a small microwave. But overall it was one of the best hotels I have stayed at and everyone was friendly. When we left they did have to shut down the elevator, but was told it was a flooding issue. It is a beautiful hotel.

I love the hotel. It was easy to find, easy to get in, and the room was really great. As I mentioned to Jeffrey, the only thing was at the night park Seymour interested in his phone and didn’t greet me or my friend either time that we came in. Other than that, it was a terrific day. I’ll definitely be back.

Very spacious room. Before and during the stay, the communication via text was excellent. About halfway through our stay, they sent a text to check on us, and I messaged back that the tub was clogged. I was just going to live with it, but the text helped. They had it fixed immediately.

Positives:
Location is between the French quarter and the Garden District, and just next to the tram.
The room was large and the beds were comfortable.
Staff were generally friendly.
Negatives:
Room wasn't overly clean, with lots of dust and good left on floor by previous guests. Generally felt worn out and a lack of attention.
Aircon was very loud, and was woken several times during the night by traffic on the near by road.

I’ve stayed here 4x. Rates are reasonable. Free parking is a plus. This 3 day stay my room was not cleaned or towels changed out even though I asked.
The carpet needed to be vacuumed as well as the window sill was loaded with dead bugs.

I was thrilled with the quality of this hotel. We came for the Taylor Swift concert and enjoyed walking to the Dome and exploring the surrounding area. The room was excellent. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, great staff, fun lobby area for people watching. Oh! And the parking garage was a huge bonus!! So easy and convenient. Would recommend this hotel to others.

My girlfriends and I had a great stay at St Charles Coach House.
Reasons why we recommend staying here:
-Location. It’s in the garden district so it was pretty central to all the places we wanted to visit. It had multiple restaurants and shops within walking distance. The trolley is literally across the street which made it easy to get around. Plus it was about a 10-15min Uber drive to the French quarter.
-Cleanliness. Our room was clean and very spacious. There were 3 of us girls in the room and we didn’t feel cramped. The beds were super comfy and housekeeping kept our room tidy while we explored during the day.
-Staff. The staff were great! Very friendly. They allowed us to check in early since our flight came in the morning. They even offered to store our luggage for free if we needed it. Luckily, our room was ready when we got there.
The amenities were pretty basic, but this place is perfect for anyone looking for a clean and safe hotel. Would stay here again.
