Stoney Creek Hotel Peoria

There is a lot to like about Stoney creek, it’s our “go-to” when in Peoria. Only reason for low score in cleanliness this time is that the bathroom floor obviously had not been cleaned ( or even swept ) after previous guest.

The hot tub was not working, cold inside hotel hallways and breakfast sucked cause it also was cold. I will never stay here again. They could of put that hot tub was out of order. Disappointed all together

Pool cold, hot tub didn't work, facilities really need updating

Nice quaint and quiet hotel. Clean room. Nice ambiance. Roaring fireplace when you check in. Jonah’s restaurant is 400 ft away. Mobil gas station next door.

We had a good night, hot tub wasnt working kinda disappointing but we traveled with a pet and they put us near a door and had a good amount of outdoor space for her to walk around

I had a quick check-in with my room ready., even though the lobby was full of people waiting on their room. Very nice staff, clean, comfortable room. Kudos! I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Peoria! :)

The hotel was very clean and was accommodating. We asked for a let checkout of noon instead of 11 and the guy told us that would be fine and he would make a note of it and then we got a knock in the middle of my baby’s nap because he never passed it on so that was frustrating but overall, we were very pleased with the room!

I have stayed several times its starting to get run down it would have been nice to know hot tub is out of service also the breakfast could use some work eggs were watery only one meat option and not pancakes or waffles

Quiet stay

We always stay here when we go to Peoria. Love it here. Love the staff especially the bartender he is the greatest.

I really want to give this property a higher rating. Normally stay at the Embassy Suites down the street, but got a VIP deal with Expedia and saved $200 to stay at the Stoney Creek Inn. The positives - the price. I paid $440 for 4 nights. Location - convenient to Washington and to Peoria. Shopping and restaurants and casino and bars all around. The staff was very nice and accomodating with all of our issues that arose during our stay. I did feel a bit sorry for them as it didn't seem to be a very well run operation. We arrived to a room that wasn't ready and put into a different room. It was late, we went to bed. Next morning realized the lamp on the talbe was broken, the switch was dangling. The fridge was leaning and when I looked it was because the piece of furniture it was on was rotted out at the bottom. There was a chair/ottoman missing - so we had nothing to put our stuff on or sit on beside our beds. Their breakfast had bagels in individuals sandwich baggies. There were 2 of them with mold on them and the rest were so hard when you tied to get them apart they basically crumbled. I went to complain at the front desk and the lady there was very apologetic and super nice. She moved us to a 3rd room, which was a nice upgrade w/ a fireplace and tons of room. It was nice. The 3rd night we needed to do laundry and the machine took our money and never gave us the soap we were trying to purchase. Went to main desk and they gave us some. MORE . . . .

Very limited on amenities

not a good experience, price is good but room not clean, microwave was real bad. kids were running up and down stairs late at night. probably will not stay again

We have stayed at Stoney Creek at Christmastime for the last 5 years. It's always a great experience. Nice place, comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff, and dog friendly.

Lots of detail in the decor that added to the charm.

We had a wonderful stay for Christmas! 🎄Disappointed that the hot tub is still down (we called ahead to ask) but we still enjoyed our time in the pool. Our room was clean and beds super comfortable. We slept amazingly. Breakfast was good, but not the biggest selection of foods to choose from. We will be back.
