Stoney Creek Hotel Quad Cities - Moline

Pool,hot tub and ice machine were out of order… should have been advised before check in or online while making reservation. Sure glad I chose a room with a hot tub. Hot tub in room was really filthy.. had to clean it before use. I was pleased that the hot water was right on. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great place to get away other than mentioned issues.

we arrived about an hour and a half before our concert. when we got in our room, the heat wasn’t working. We went down to the front desk and they put us in another room and It was dirty. We sat around for a few minutes while Elizabeth worked on a solution for us. The hotel was full due to the concert, but they did have a suite available which they put us in due to the issues with the two previous rooms. I appreciate Elizabeth’s effort to get us in a room so quickly. We made it to the show on time!

I am disappointed that no one called about the closing of the pool and hot tub. I reserved way ahead of my stay so I should have been called. There was kids running around even after being told to stop or parents would be called in the rooms. One of them bout knocked me down running and not paying attention. I am there all the time and not happy about the stay there this time.

Hotel was perfect for our needs, and the staff was very friendly. There was an issue with the water the morning of our leave, so the shower wasn't working.

Able to walk to the vibrant arena. Easy check in and check out. Nice and clean room. Overall pretty quiet. Good parking.

Excellent location, great decor! Easy walk to Vibrant Arena for an excellent concert! Very friendly staff! The ladies in the breakfast area were very kind and social!

Very dusty also no screen in window and I have little kids that could have fell out

I thought we had no hot water. When I called front desk, they said on that side of the hotel you needed to let it run 20 minutes to get hot water. It was inconvenient, but I would have appreciated being told when we checked in. M

Being a travel advisor, I sometimes like to stay at hotels in my area to assure that I am sending my clients to the best hotels in their budget. This is the first time that I have stayed at Stoney Creek Hotel. It was suggested to me by a family member. I booked a king room for 3 nights. Upon arrival I was informed that I would be getting a double due to the king rooms were booked. The lady at the front desk informed me that Expedia doesn’t check to see what is available and it was their fault. I agreed to a double room and checked in. She didn’t offer a king room when it became available. Once I was settled in the room, I noticed there wasn’t any hot water to take a shower. At first I thought it would be rectified the next day. Unfortunately it was not. I wasn’t able to take a hot shower at all that day. I only was able to take a lukewarm shower. I went to the front desk several times only to be told that the boiler wasn’t able to keep up with occupancy. This was very frustrating. Other things noted was the room was a little worn, meaning that the wallpaper was buckling in areas of the room. The tile in the elevator was a slight trip hazard as it was loose. The saloon wasn’t open during the stay which was another disappointment considering the football game was on and my husband and I had planned to go to the saloon and watch the game and enjoy cocktails. The lobby has a fireplace, however the lobby is very cold. Improvements are needed.

I had a few hiccups with it manager and staff made sure that all of my issues were taken care of and that I enjoyed my stay. I definitely recommend the Stony Creek inn to travelers and families that want to relax in a good atmosphere.

The hot water didnt work well but other than that it was an amazing place!

Housekeeping every three days has demonstrated areas are not very clean . The shower was filthy as was the shower curtain . Access to internet in rooms spotty absent 2/5 days . Front desk was an absolute joy . Continental breakfast nice variety with the automatic pancake maker . Pool and hot tub need a deep cleaning . It needs upkeep or will just fall to the wayside . Refrigerator in room nice size

I enjoyed the decor and most staff were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the pool area was closed and nothing was mentioned on their website and I wasnt informed until after I checked in. My family is local and we only got a room to enjoy the pool and hot tub area. We would have made reservations else where if we would have been aware.

It isna cool venue. Breakfast was almist cooked all thebway through & mostlybrestockes. Found gum stuckntonthe wallmof the shower and man hair on the sink. The pool was dirrrty. Sand in the hot tub .lil cloudy innthe big pool. (Also dirty.) The hallways smelled beautiful, the bartender was sub-par but tried really hard. THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS AHMAZING cautiously knowledgeable. Kind & a total pro. Quick check in. So informative.

First time staying and was very impressed! The hot tub and pool were great and the pool had an exit to the outside. Even in the winter temps it was enjoyable. Love the atmosphere and they have a bar inside with limited bites. Was in walking distance to several places to eat. Highly recommend
