Worst hotel I have ever stayed in

It was a little weathered, but clean. The breakfast served was a bit sad. Limited cereal selection, flavored and sweetened instant oatmeal, only white bread for toast.....

It was a decent hotel. It was a nice quiet area, the beds were comfortable, the staff was pleasant. Also the prices were very fair also a nice walk to Plattsburgh beach which is not far. The hotel can improve on the quality of the breakfast. There was not a lot of healthy food available such as fruits, and the selection was not a variety. The pool was ice cold there was no heat in the pool. For those who do like to swim I would suggest management to take the time and heat the pool to a decent temperature. I was out for the day and when I arrived back during the evening my room was not clean. If you are looking just for a quiet place just to sleep and if you are not picky about food selection, then I think this place would be good for that type of stay. I feel the hotel would suitable for sure it totally depends on one’s needs at the stay. This place would work for some as well as not for others.

THE EXCELLENT STAFF ATTITUDE AND SERVICE

The property was very disappointing. They definitely need repairs and upgrades. My son didnt even want to get in the shower. There was one little bar of soap nothing else. The beds were extremely uncomfortable woke up with sore back.

Very nice hotel for the $. Maybe off season but still a nice stay.

The pool was not heated as stated. The breakfast was very limited. There was no fruit. We could not leave our car parked there for two days while we cycled unless we paid a fee. We even stayed there upon return from our bike trip. (It was cheaper to park at the airport anyway while we biked).

We had a room change 3 times. The first room lights didn't work, second room had a hole on the outside door and you were able to peak through the door, the 3rd room also had a hole on the door but we had to settle. The hotel had a oder from the dirty carpets.

There have been dead flies in the bathroom lamp, the tables in the breakfast room were dirty, such as the floor in the hallway. The stick for the curtain lay on the floor, breakfast was extremely poor. The man at the front desk was very unfriendly, the man in the breakfast room wore dirty clothes. The only positive thing: the mattresses have been good.

This super 8 was not worth what they charged. The toilet paper was 3/4 used. Cobwebs through the whole room. No remote in the room. And the guy at the front desk was extremely miserable

Filthy, smelled,mold in the bathroom, ripped carpet, chair was so worn out looked to be older than the motel, service was horrible, refused to get us clean washcloth and towell after trying to find someone from morning until 2 in the afternoon,and could never find someone at the desk for help even after a good 10 trips. Had to leave at 2pm for a weddingsi no clean towells. When we got back still couldnt get someone to get me a washcloth. Refused and said i had to wait till morning.... so never got clean towells for our 3 days there.Rude people that wouldnt bend for anything or give you the time of day. I could go on and on. We requested a king bed and after check in found it was a queen and man said he was too busy to help. Once he told me he was too busy to talk to me. Who does that???? Had our hands full and got to dooe to go to our room and the key wouldnt work. Went to the desk ... no one there. Again got back from wedding and key wouldnt work and had to walk around the building to the office. Parking lot all broken up as was concrete walk way... unsafe !!!! Never stayed at such a terrible place and we travel all the time. Not worth the $350 or so we spent ...

Found two live wasps in the room!

Certain things about the motel were bothersome. The pool although claiming to be heated, was not. There was no remote control for tv in room and had to go ask for one. Wanted to leave our car parked there for two nights while we were on a bike trip and staying before and after at the motel. We could only do that for a charge of $25 a night! So we parked at the airport where it is only $10 a day.

Lots of parking. Easy access to a store. Noticed you didn't have an elevator.

There is black mold in the sink and the shower. Tissues not restocked. Door would not close without pushing on it. While room smelled like mold.

Not only were the staff rude but the room was dirty. The sheets were not washed they had visible dirt there was no TV remote. The couch was full of stains there was blood on the wall and light shade. There were only 3 towels and we had 5 adults. When I asked for more he gave me a hard time saying I already had 3. I told him we all wanted to shower and needed towels. He said he had none. We also reserved a rollaway bed prior to our visit but told us they had none after I paid extra to have it.

A dump. Shower head leaked... sprayed up to the ceiling.TV could not be plugged in...too far from outlet. No remote. No plastic cups. No tissues. Hallway wreaked of cigarette smoke. Breakfast-juice dispenser out of order. Only cold cereal and waffles for breakfast. I will never stay in a Super 8 again, and I will think twice before booking with Expedia.
