Super 8 by Wyndham Troy IL/St. Louis Area

Had decent hopes for the hotel but pool was out of order, bedding had stains on the top blanket, and just doesnt feel like the cleanest place

Nice place for the money

A clean room with a comfortable bed. Though the remote worked, the volume on our TV would not go up. Strange. Waffles, bagels, boiled eggs, and yogurt were a good start to our drive.

We had a very comfortable n friendly stay we was stranded from the snowstorm n had to stay an extra day we couldn't get the car out from being plowed in n the front desk work was very nice to help my daughter shovel the car out he was very helpful n nice

Very clean and comfortable

I've stayed here several times and each time is an enjoyable experience. The beds are soft, but very comfortable. The common areas are very nice. Great pool and the breakfast is adequate with lots of choices. Usually, I don't have a problem with my room. But this time I did. The first room (104) wreaked. But the pleasant and friendly gentleman on duty was very willing to give me another room. But there was a minor problem with that room. First off, there was an extremely strong smell of cleaning supplies when I walked in. Like they sprayed a whole lot of air freshener to cover up the smelly rooms. Then the bathtub wouldn't fill because the drain wouldn't close all of the way. The sink wouldn't drain because the drain was clogged. I reported this to the girl at the front desk. She did make a note of it, but acted kinda bewildered that I was even telling her about it. The restaurant next door has fantastic barbecue. And the Hotel is right off of the interstate. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay and I'll continue to make it my go to Hotel when traveling through the St. Louis area. For $70-80. it's a good Hotel.

Nice

Stayed one night on our way to St. Louis the next day. Not very big place, rooms aren’t spacious. Breakfast options weren’t great. They only had waffles and some muffins.

Nice large room. No smoke odors. I liked the vanity outside the bathroom, it made it easier for multiple people getting ready. Good continental breakfast.

Fairly priced. A good choice for a one-day stay during a road trip. Small things that kept it from exceeding expectations: bathroom light was left on, a hair was found on the toilet seat, a bedside lamp did not turn on, specks/stains on the bedsheet, small tear/hole in sheets

The room was fine. The sheets were clean. Decent room for the price. The breakfast was fine, but not deluxe. On the down side, the carpet was a bit stained and the toilet was not clean.

The sheets were stained, there wasn’t a shower curtain, and it smelled like an ash tray. We didn’t even stay the night because it smelled so badly.
