Beautiful property. Close to everything from restaurants to shopping. Some areas were sketchy but to be expected in the city. Loved the free coffee in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff. Area around hotel is downtown so as you can imagine a fair share of homeless people however that’s nothing against the hotel!

Check in staff were unfriendly and unprofessional
Room was small, bathroom had several issues : sink was dysfunctional (tap ran water onto counter) and drain was clogged. No bathroom fan so steamed up horribly. Very noisy first night with other guests on floor and outside in early AM (garbage removal at 6am). Upon checkout, and after paying $100 for 2 nights of valet parking, I discovered someone had urinated all over the roof/side of my vehicle so wherever it was parked was u safe and insecure.

Clearly understaffed for full house. No assistance on parking, Simply said, good luck parking in garage downtown. We cannot help you with valet TOO BUSY
BTW, parking and walking in downtown Portland is NOT a pleasant or safe experience.

Hotel in the center of downtown. We were about 10 blocks from everything we wanted to see and enjoy. Breakfast in the morning is excellent. Boobie is a fantastic server, and enhanced our stay with suggestions of other things to experience. A great stay!

Hotel is really nice, had a lot of character and history and the room was clean. Staff are great, incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Kevin! He was great. Beds are decent, the pillows are oddly small and square. Rooms have a few dings and dents here and there but overall it was pretty good. Easy walk to lots of food trucks, coffee shops and restaurants. Ride share (Uber/Lyft, etc) are never more than a few minute wait. The area outside is dirty, smells like pee, there’s lots of garbage and transient people walking around, smoking drugs, sleeping on the sidewalks, urinating in the middle of the road, etc but was never harassed by anyone.

The overnight parking was an additional $49 and I don’t remember reading that when I picked the hotel. There is public parking about a 1/2 block away for $28 but having all the expense facts more clearly available would be helpful.
The bed and bedding was lovely and I got a great night’s sleep!

The staff was very kind, however, the room was smelly; when we turned the heater on at night it smelled like something dead was in the vents. No fan in the bathroom; literally one hallway light & a bathroom light, awful lighting in the room. Very uncomfortable bed & just overall a disgusting room.

There was a persistent beeping coming from one of the mechanical or electrical rooms next to our room and while they started they would send maintenance up to check on it, it continued to persist throughout the night and into the morning when we checked out.
