The Cornell Inn, Lenox

The rooms were excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff was wonderful.

Wonderful and unique property - highly recommended

Really nice visit. All of the staff clearly wanted to create a pleasurable experience. Everything is nicely decorated. The full breakfast was quickly served and very nicely done. The atmosphere was really nice - not too big that you felt like a number in a roadside inn/lodge/motel; not so small that you felt obligated to entertain the establishment.

We loved out two day stay! The hotel was charming but with modern design elements. Too many inns feel drab and dusty, Cornell was bright, clean, well thought-out. Everyone we met who worked there was so friendly and accommodating. Just a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown Lenox, we were equally impressed with the outstanding quality of restaurants in the town. We hope we can return one day.

Friendly professional staff, unusual touches like a bottle of wine in the room, free pastries and cookies available 24/7, and free ice cream in the evening... and really good breakfasts.

Susan, our host, gave us the friendliest & kindest welcome we’ve ever received. “Kindness” is a Cornell theme, Building & grounds are beautiful.

Everything was amazing - the staff, the breakfast, the amenities. I’d only change booking directly with the inn next time because our room was slightly underwhelming (in terms of aesthetic) compared to what we saw online.

From the minute you walk in you are welcome by a very enthusiastic host. In our case it was Sam. The morning breakfast sitting in the terrasse near the pound were sublime and service A1. Our room was nice and spacious. really enjoyed the brownies :) Will definitely go back when we go to the Berkshires again!

My wife and I dropped our daughter off at college, and were emotionally spent. I booked a room at The Cornell since it would be 2 hrs closer to home. Unbeknownst to me, this was just what we needed, and everything exceeded our expectations. The room, staff, and food were 2nd level.

Our accommodations were beautiful with a full kitchen and living room and an upstairs bedroom. The breakfast was delicious.

It’s my new favorite place in the world. I can’t wait to go back

The complimentary items e.g. cognac, brownies, sangria, pastry, etc were unexpected and also great.

Excellent service and always with a smile. We will recommend and come back again.
