The Riverfront Hotel New Orleans

Amazing stay

Overall our stay here was good. The room was clean the area around the hotel was clean and safe. It's right across from the Riverwalk and in walking distance to many other things. Overall most of the staff was extremely nice and helpful and very friendly. We had been promised a refrigerator for our room for medication but when we got there we did not have one and we asked for one at the front desk and one of the women who I do not know which one was not very nice or accommodating when we asked. The next day we saw housekeeping in the hallway and asked a nice gentleman and he went and found one for us and brought it to the room. Also at the bar one of the bartenders working the service was extremely bad. Another thing is there was one microwave in the whole hotel on the third floor and it was a rundown small old microwave. I did not like having to go to the third floor to microwave anything and it was way small. Also while we were there we did find out that Omni was no longer managing this hotel the week after we left so things may improve after the property manager changes. But overall I was very thankful to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff especially the valet guys they were all very nice and helpful

The hotel was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was the best hotel closest to my conference venue. Location was key, and Omni has some excellent restaurants all around. Plus, it is very close to the Nola WW II Museum, which is something everyone (American or not) should visit at least once. It's about 20 min walk from the French Quarter (all the convenience, none of the noise) and across the street from a shopping center, with tons of retail stores. All pluses in my book!

The rooms were clean, quiet.

The lobby is decorated beautifully for Mardi Gras.

Has to change rooms because the heat was not working correctly and the room was subpar… the new room was much better.

Roaches in my room

It was fine. Check in was a nightmare. Had multiple guest including myself given a room key only to go to the room and see it was occupied.

The only hiccup was when we got our free drink. Didn't know needed to be beer or wine

For me the hotel was central location for everything i did. Farthest i had to walk was 20 mins to Bourbon st. Never got a taxi, plentiful for dinning and shopping options close by. Will be coming back to NOLA again and this will be my hotel of choice. Staff was wonderful!

The breakfast buffet was disappointing. Limited choices and medium quality. The French toast was like concrete. Housekeeping kept the room clean but did not refill toiletries and coffee. The staff was very friendly.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, and the staff was amazing and professional. The hotel itself is a bit dated and the condition of the facilities and rooms needs some attention. There was also a funky smell in some of the hallways, although the rooms didn’t have the smell.
