Loved this historic hotel, with friendly staff, great restaurant and bar, gift shop and huge outdoor pool. The view from my room was amazing ! I luckily stayed on weekdays when there were a few conferences & it was quite quiet. Sleep very well!

The Royal Sonestra has a special history within St. Louis and has hosted many celebrities over 100 years. It's one of only a handful of hotels with a full size movie theater on site. The restaurant has amazing cocktails and delicious food. Being located next to Forest Park, there was easy access to the zoo and other museums in the park.

This could be a lovely hotel, but we paid way too much to stay there, there was construction which woke us all up early morning. They were replacing all the TVS in our floor which also caused a disruption. The hotel comped our food, but wouldn't help in the reservation. They could have communicated that there was work going before we got there so we knew what to expect.

The hotel was nice. It’s not a modern hotel, it def has an old school vintage feel with carpeted rooms and older bathrooms. I was upgraded to a suite and although there was a ton of room, the bed was small and not the most comfortable.
