I’ve stayed at The Study 4 times now since my daughter started at Drexel in the fall of 2024. The proximity to campus cannot be beat and the hotel itself is wonderful.

Eggs and bacon were very overcooked and asked to redo but were no better second time.
Valet communication was very poor. We notified them more than 30 minutes in advance twice and they did not communicate to bring the car around. When we went downstairs they had no indication

All of the staff we met were wonderful. Doorman Warren was a delight. The room was spacious and clean. Only gripe was that if you wanted to use the bathroom with the door open for safety with small children, you couldn't. The door swung barely an inch past the toilet, but we thankfully didn't have kids. So it didn't matter too much.

Rooms nice and great location for Drexel. Our room toilet had to be fixed cause no water in tank. Also shampoo bottle broken. Rooms and beds very comfortable! Have to be on top w guest services about valet because we called half hour before and they forgot to let valet know. Valet very nice tho

This is my second time staying at this property, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time I visited. I visit Philadelphia often on business, and I had two five-night stays at this hotel last year. I really appreciated the coffee and continental breakfast options being available until 11am. Often they end breakfast between 9-10 am, which is too early for me to enjoy the offerings. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return to this property the next time I am in Philadelphia for business or vacation.

The lobby is was under construction as well as the restaurant so there was nowhere else in the build to go and get food. I also got shocked every time I pressed the elevator button. I will say the whole was very quite and I was able to relax. They were also not clear on where to park until afterwards so I want an extra $22 on a parking garage that didn’t allow overnight parking.

We are here for a medical appointment. Crazy trip into Phillie but the stag here is phenomenal! Only issue is parking. I chose not to have valet parking but now have unanswered questions on how to pay for the parking at the lot when we leave. Wish the staff had mentioned at checkin the actual cost of valet parking and all the benefits.

I needed a place to stay while my husband had a procedure at the university of Penn. It was a short walk from the hospital. They had a restaurant attached to the hotel. It was closed for a private event, but they were able to send food to the room. It was delicious.

Beautiful room and amazing view. Bed was super comfortable. I wish it had a mini fridge and that I could have used my streaming subscriptions on the TV. Dinner at the in-house restaurant was very good.

Amazing peaceful neighborhood. We stayed on Wednesday night so that we could see the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day parade. My only issue was parking. We used a neighboring garage and the doors were on the opposite side of hotel. By no means not hotels fault. Just a heads up to others for there stay. Maybe use valet parking

My husband and I stayed for one night at The Study and had a great experience. Staff were efficient and friendly. The room size was just right and the bed was super comfortable. Would be happy to stay here again the next time we’re in University City.
