Easily accessible and convenient.

This place is amazing. It’s a five star hotel at a two star price. Their indoor pool was like a hot tub. Their breakfast was on point the lighting in the bedroom from the pre-lit headboards and the under lit beds just amazing.

Check in was quick and the front desk staff was fun and personable. They made me feel right at home. We had some issue with the tv but it was cleared up quickly. The breakfast was hot and it hit the spot. Beds were clean and comfortable.The shower was hot and welcoming in the cool mornings. They have renovated and everything looks so new and updated. We love this place and you will too.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out this place was top notch! The room was huge and to our surprise had a fireplace!! The view was perfect of the island and the smokies!! The breakfast was hot and delicious!! We will definitely be back for another stay!!

First time staying here. Very nice. Hotel is exactly as pictured. Beds comfortable.

Our stay had a rocky start with the television not working properly. The next morning the day manager tried to fix it and we had to wait in the maintenance man to come. I must say the maintenance man was a delight to converse with, very knowledgeable, and efficient. Such a gentleman and excellent staff member. Later in the day a snow blizzard came! Staff was very helpful in keeping everyone safe. The breakfast was very good with biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, and plentiful coffee ( coffee provided all day in the lobby too)! They were short staffed in housekeeping because of the blizzard but front desk was available to provide clean towels, toiletries, and any other needs. I would highly recommend The Walden! Great place, clean, comfy beds, excellent staff, and very economical!!!

Desk Clerk was very helpful with our needs and questions. Our room was very nice and beds comfortable.

As always, the breakfast was good, just a little 'slim' by 9:00. Have been to this hotel many times as our go-to hotel in Pigeon Forge. I felt that two items in the refurbished rooms were not up to par. First, the rain shower shower head is terrible: after a long day of horseback riding or mud buggy fun, a very gentle fall of water doesn't cut it....A real shower head with different settings, as it was previously is much preferred. The other thing is the large mirror placed where there is NO light. Even with the shade open and all lights on by the bed it was barely usable... Move it to another lit location or at least place a light near it. Things seemed to be 'updated' for fashion/looks instead of practicality.

The property staff was amazing! I lost a room key and they were so accommodating and kind. Free drinks (coffee and juice) was a nice addition. The breakfast was better than most complimentary breakfast at hotels. However, i just cannot stimach the powdered eggs. I do understand though that they are more cost effective for the hotels.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean and nice. I loved the huge Christmas tree up in the foyer. My only complaint is I wish the bed was a little bit more comfy.

Best place in Pigeon Forge to stay. Clean & very friendly staff. It’s a 10 out of a 10 & doesn’t break the bank. We stay here 4-5 times a year. The kids love the indoor heated pool & hot tub. The outside pool with slide, hot tub, pavilions & fire pits make it even better!

The property is new, the rooms are very spacious and it was very clean.

Our room was wonderful, staff was great, manager was amazing and friendly. The breakfast was a disappointment compared to others but our only negative.

We always enjoy staying here. Great price for a great hotel with a nice breakfast and rooms in great condition that always have what we need and so conviently located!!!

Very relaxing

The Walden is a great choice for families. It used to be a Clarion, but Wyndham is now the owner. There are 2 pools and a hot tub jacuzzi. One indoor pool is heated. Plenty of parking. The rooms were clean. Water pressure good. Some TV channels had picture but no sound. Fridge and microwave worked fine. 24 hour coffee in lobby, which is tastefully decorated. Front desk staff were terrific and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. Hot food such as biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles and so on. I liked the parking situation. Plenty of spots. I will stay here again for sure. We loved the location of the property. Within walking distance of several restaurants. Quiet section of town and close to The Island. My room had a cute balcony with 2 chairs.

“Exceptional Stay!” I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The lobby was clean, modern, and welcoming, setting the tone for the entire stay. My room was spacious, well-decorated, and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring I had a great night’s sleep. The bathroom had a fantastic shower with high-quality toiletries, and the complimentary Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. I’ll definitely be staying here again!
