Rooms were standard but turn down service not good. Looked like they just made the bed and left everything else as is.
The main reason why this hotel gets 2 stars is because I came to make a wedding proposal and had a simple request to place the flowers I ordered in the room any time after 3pm. When we arrived back to the room at 2 the flowers were already there, obviously ruining the surprise. Worse when I politely spoke to Stephen at the front desk he just stared at me like I was speaking a different language. Offered no apologies whatsoever and was completely rude. He should really not be working in hospitality. They get 1 star for being a standard Westin and allowing us to change to a king bed, but really bad service especially for the cost.

Good location. Easy accyto PATH metro to Manhattan. Nice near by piers and boardwalk. Room is roomy and clean. Self park with daily fee. Why only 4 stars? As kinda upscale hotel, it should equipped with Smart TV. Major disappointment.

Came to New York for the first time and stayed at this hotel. The first morning I left to explore I was searching for some water and I was yelled at from across the hotel asking me what I was doing. When I explained I was looking for water she told me to get downstairs. When I went to the bar the lady didn’t want to give me water being complicated so I just left!! They were very rude and would recommend avoiding employees after check in.

We requested a high floor but were placed on the first residential floor. The room had a musty odor, like wet socks, and we found expired milk for the coffee—thankfully, we noticed before using it. The breakfast bar is very small and not included in the rate. The only positive aspect was the location, but unfortunately, the staff was unhelpful and rude.

The most breathtaking views I have ever seen, especially at night looking out over the river. Room was spacious and clean, bed and pull out sofa were super comfy! The staff was friendly and always helpful. There is a pier across the street that is so peaceful and relaxing. Several restaurants nearby. We walked a block to the grocery store and bought things for our stay.
We finally learned how to use the public transport which was nice because Ubers will drain your pockets! The PATH train was right across the street by the courtyard (which was beautiful as well). The pool and hot tub was enjoyable and felt good after a long day of shopping /touring in NYC. There is a pizza place one block over called VB3, we ate there 3 times it was so delicious. I give this place 10/10, and we will definitely stay here again. The only thing I would change is add a microwave in the room and build a pedestrian sky bridge that takes you over to NYC, that would be amazing! Highly Recommend!
