The Vermont is an extremely sought after apartment building/ high rise in the heart of Korea Town. It is close to everything and is a great place to stay whether you are travelling for business or pleasure. It was very private and quiet, security was on point. The apartment itself was modern, it didn't have the million dollar view but it had a very nice view of the city, and was very enjoyable for the time we were there.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. I booked a 2 nights stay at this property for spring break over the phone with a Hotels.com agent. After reviewing the confirmation email, I noticed the check in time was 5pm-12am. I was expected to arrive after 12am. I called the phone# listed to confirm if it was possible to come after 12am. The agent that answered took down my info and said she would call me back after she contacts the property. No one called me back. During this time i went to read the property's reviews. A lot of bad reviews and some people never even got checked in so I called hotels.com and asked the agent for help. Two different agents confirmed it was okay to arrive after 12am and assured me my booking was valid. I arrived at 1230am to an apartment complex and was told to go up stairs to the security counter. They checked my ID and told me there was no key to the property left out for me. The security guard told me usually the owner would leave a key with my name on it. My husband called hotels.com while i called the propery phone# listed. I got an agent who AGAIN took down my info and told me she would call me back. She never called back. As for hotels.com they were only able to refund me the cost but was unable to assist with booking another property since now it is past 1am and check in at other hotels would be 3pm. I had to drive around with my two young kids and search for a place to stay as a walk-in basis. AGAIN, DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!

The property was sharp, clean, and very neat. However this is not a hotel. It's more of a private apartment. If you arrive after 5:00pm, please be prepared to first drive to downtown LA to the leaseholder's apartment to get the keys, the drive 30 minutes to Koreatown to the apartment. If you bought parking, be prepared that someone may already be in your space and to try to call 'customer service' to figure out a way to get parking.

This is not a hotel. You can not talk to any staff members. Don't let the pics fool you. The worst place to stay. There's a list of "rules" to follow that tells you things to do and say. You almost feel like you're sneaking around in a room that you paid to stay in.

Parking was terrible everyday. They had no enough parking lot for the geust, so I had to find a space to park every night. That was bugging me every time. Besides, The staffs abandoned that circumstance because they seemed that was normal situation.

I had received a txt before my arrival and then realized it was not a typical hotel. I txt this person that made the arrangements for me and met at a location near the place. He charged me for parking and then I drove to the location. Had some issues not knowing how the gate works but figured it out. I typically do not need an cleaning service and with this location it was perfect for me to stay a week. Would actually recommend it to people if you are not too picky on service that a hotel might have but all in all my stay was not bad.

Everything was perfect, except that check in is at 5pm and you have to do everything by text. You can't go to the Front desk for anything. A little suspicious.

VERY hard to get in touch with Tripbz, on my 4th call to their 1-800 number the person informed me that they just answer the phone for Tripbz they can't actually help. They rarely answer emails. It's an apartment within an apartment complex NOT an apartment hotel, you're on your own, no bag minding if you have a late flight (offered to hold at their offices but had to get bags there and I didn't feel comfortable with it). And even though their blurb says it's suitable for families & long stays it's not equipped for it. When I questioned the lack of equipment in the kitchen I was told "It's a cultural thing, no one really uses the kitchen" REALLY? I've stayed in apartment hotels all over the world & never had this problem, in fact I just came from another one in AMERICA that WAS fully equipped. There was NO equipment to use in the microwave or oven. There were only 4 plates/sets of cutlery/cups - so you have to put on the dishwasher (which leaks. supply your own powder so you have to buy a box) or wash up, there's no cloths (just rags I was told were cloths), no plug, no drying rack. NO chopping board, wine glasses, toaster, no starter tea/coffee/sugar... We only had three bowls at first.I raised all my concerns and was given more bowls and four champagne glasses, they did something but didn't really fix the shortfall. I feel it's a great concept that needs quite a bit of work. It all felt a bit dodgy. Final thing was the cleaner letting herself in at 10 when checkout is 11.

Our stay was nice although the place isn't as big as pictured. Nice view of the city. When contacting the owner you always have to call because they don't text back. Other than that it was cool

They text you telling you about your check in mind you its not with the actual Vermont. I believe it's privately owned apartments they put up for rent. They also tell you do not go to the hotel counter because they will not help you. And to top it all off you can not mention expedia. If someone asked you have to say you with some SC buisness group. The toilet over flowed on my unit I was not issued ANY help! They refuse to return my call etc! I have yet to receive a call back. I requested half my money back or at least some forms of compensation. But of course now no one returns my calls..... I don't recommend this place at all! It's too risky to meet a strange person to check in to a hotel using a square cash app from there phone standing in the middle of a building

very nice apartment, clean and quite. The thing not satisfied is it's hard to find the entrance. And also the view of our room is not good at all. Maybe because the floor is too low and all the view is blocked by the other buildings.

Keys were not left at the security and had to wait 30 minutes past 5 PM for them to bring the key while I was looking at other options since I didn't hear back and Expedia is ZERO help when it comes to immediate customer support. I wouldn't book through Expedia again.
