I selected this hotel due to its central location, which provides easy access to numerous stores and restaurants. The hotel staff was both friendly and professional, and the premises were well-maintained and modern. The room was comfortable and equipped with a convenient temperature control system. The hotel’s amenities were impressive. Coffee and tea were readily available, and a delightful serving bowl by the entrance offered a glimpse of the sweet treats offered to guests. While the complimentary breakfast was not entirely satisfactory, the pancake machine that prepared them in front of the guests was a quick, easy, and entertaining experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for future visits to Lynchburg. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

We travel a lot to see family and have discovered Tru in Lynchburg, Va. Their rooms are always clean and the staff members are really pleasant to deal with. We travel with pets and check in was fast and simple. We will be back in the future.

We were there briefly, check in was fast and easy. Check out was just as easy. The room was nice and clean. Hotel is in a good area. Close to stores and restaurants.

The hotel is newer and feels new; however there were a few surprising things. In my hallway, the wallpaper on the walls was ripped up and the baseboards removed. Probably remodeling being done, but no signs of any workers. Also, I stayed 2 days and my room didn't get cleaned each day. The room was beautifully cleaned upon arrival, but I was surprised my bed was not made or wet towels removed when I came back after a long day. The breakfast was good, the beds slept well, nice large tv's, and nice staff. I would stay here again, but I found some of these things surprising.

We were not a fan of the modern concept hanging space features instead of a closet. It made the room look cluttered and messy to have our clothes hanging out in the open and on wall hooks. Also, the clear glass shower door instead of a curtain made it so that only one family member at a time could utilize the entire bathroom. With a curtain, one person can shower in privacy while another uses the toilet or brushes their teeth or whatever. This bathroom did not allow for that which was a huge inconvenience.

We visited Liberty University often. Our kids are now graduates from there. Tru Hotel became our place to stay during our last couple of visits. It was very convenient for us. Of course we only went there to spend our nights while in Lynchburg so we can comment on the cleanliness of the rooms, great staff and especially for us, the convenience of its location.

Our daughter goes to school in Lynchburg and we are up there several times a year. This hotel is always consistent and where we choose to stay.

Love the size of the bathroom and the great shower. The bed was comfortable.

Great place except built very close to a busy road and the car noise never stops.

We arrived late and our key cards did not work and there was no resolution to that, so once the staff let us in the room, we just had to manage without. Not a huge deal since it was 1 night, but a little annoying. Otherwise, very clean and no other bumps.

For a newer building, the inside was in poor condition. Staff made up for the rough interior.
