Amazing place to spend the weekend with the family especially if its snowing

The actual property is beautiful and has a rustic vintage charm. Check in was quick and kind. However I did not like that they gave us the room up on “cardio hill” and did not offer luggage assistance. On our way up the steep hill my mother and I, saw a sign that said “luggage assistance available upon request”. Once we got to our room I called the front desk to inquire about assistance and they told me it was only available to the group on a retreat. My mother has asthma and a heart condition it was very hard for her to make her way up she was very out of breath. We have stayed in cabins before at other places and have never had such a rough “to and from” the car. If you offer luggage assistance it should be available to anyone staying at the lodge, especially on that hill.The walls are also paper thin, our neighbors kept us up, and the beds were uncomfortable but better than the floor. I am glad I only booked one night. We were hesitant to even leave the room with the dread of getting back up. Upon check out I did let them know of the experience and they were very kind & professional and did say that assistance is available to anyone including anyone who is handicap or elderly. Also seems like the actual location caters to groups on company retreats maybe? Because some of the activities were reserved for groups only. Be aware when booking as a small family or a couple looking to stay here. There is free wifi and usb connections for charging your devices but no televisions.

Superior customer service. Clean comfortable rooms. Lots to explore around the property. Just limited food options was the only real downside.

We stayed at the UCLA Lodge for our first time this New Year’s. We really enjoyed the historic Lodge and surrounding area. Our chalet was nestled up in the hillside, which did require quite a few steps, but it was a lovely respite. We loved that you can walk down to the lake, enjoy the indoor Jacuzzi for winter time, and lots of lawn games for the family. The lodge has fire places and a variety of seating areas to enjoy the space. Dining room was convenient for a quick breakfast or dinner. Would definitely stay again!

This property has beautiful grounds, amenities, and lodges. It's a little drive from the restaurants, shopping in Lake Arrowhead, but has its own restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. I found the restaurant pricing to be pretty high with limited options. The lodges are very well appointed with clean bathrooms and fireplaces.

This nature-surrounded hotel has friendly staff and a great restaurant. It's perfect for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. I'll return for another peaceful stay.

It was a great place to get away for couple days. Nice, quiet and nature around. Kids like it, but they wish there was snow there too.

We recently spent six nights at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge. The surroundings were serene, and the accommodations were comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a family retreat. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. However, we encountered a persistent squeaking noise in our room each night. Upon discussing this with the staff, we discovered that a rodent had made its way into the attic. While this was an unexpected disturbance, the management took prompt action to address the issue. Overall, despite this minor hiccup, our family enjoyed the experience, and we appreciate the staff’s responsiveness. We look forward to returning, confident that such issues will be resolved.

It needs updating it’s in poor condition and the food was not good

Nice property but the restaurant was disappointing. No real service unless you go to front desk. Rooms are smelly and no TV which seems more of a cheap move than a sense of nature. Over priced for the what you get. I thought it would be a lot nicer. I recommend you stay in Big Bear at the Holiday in which is a full service Hotel. This seems more of a motel feel.

Hidden gem! Such a beautiful place, lots to do, great rooms, and service!

Rooms are interconnected and so we couldn’t sleep because the other rooms guests were socializing all night. Furnace heater was so loud it kept waking us up. Overall, its an okay hotel but not worth the cost.
