Too much outside people doing stuff all night long in and out

Nice hotel. Staff let me extend my stay. Room cleaned daily.

I didn't like the noise the other guests were making at night, my wife couldn't sleep

One of the most accurately-named hotels I've stayed at. Rooms are average sized, beds were comfy enough, bathrooms kinda poorly lit, TV worked. Breakfast in the morning was missing coffee and the orange juice was orange drink. Can be a little loud from traffic noise during the evening, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Place is great for the price it’s given and also everything food wise and gas wise is all very close overall a great place to stay

I totally enjoy coming to the vagabond south it's a very quite place great front desk staff and general workers it's a spot to come and relax.

It was a normal motel but the room we were in had unpleasant smell and the heater wasn’t working. Overall, still recommend for the price but they need to check on their equipment more often.

Wonderful stay

We read the positive reviews and were not expecting what we found when we arrived. In the evening the person at the check-in counter was pleasant but they were behind a locked door in the office and we were in the lobby area only to have a disturbed older man with his pitbull join us. He eventually left but it was a dicey situation. We were then given the keys to our rooms only to have the couple in the room next door come outside with their rottweiler on a 20 foot rope throw itself against our car window and aggressively bark. We are dog-owning people but this was all a bit much. In fairness to the motel, when we went back to the office they did take it seriously, their security person showed up, and they moved us to different rooms. In the end then we saw the initial 2 rooms plus the 2 rooms where we ended up staying. All 4 rooms were relatively clean but this is a very basic, older motel with peeling floors albeit with fresh paint on the walls. And it is very noisy. Even in the middle of the night the noise from the I5 is loud so earplugs are essential. Add to that the Carmax dealership next door where cars are loudly offloaded from trucks throughout the night. And then in the morning the very pleasant maids are unfortunately loudly talking outside while rolling noisy carts up and down the outside hallway. There are large gaps around the doors which only makes all of the noise even worse. Friendly staff but next time we'd go elsewhere.

This is the place for quiet leisure time and the staff are amazing especially the front desk staff are very nice especially ana from the morning shift and the lady who works night shift they're great..
