I have been at vagabond inn many time. It’s my favorite stop on my trips to SF from SoCal. Even if it peens a detour.

I recommend this hotel for a stop on your trip especially if you plan to have dinner at the Madonna Hotel restaurant... very close and convenient! The hotel has spacious rooms and everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Room and grounds were clean, except that there was what appeared to be dried blood splattered on the back of the bathroom door. The water coming out of the sink smelled absolutely disgusting, like sewer water. The shower water didnt smell, but there wasnt enough hot water, and the pressure would go in and out. And also it would make a horrible sound. But the front desk was very friendly, and the rest of the room was clean and the bed was comfy.

Absolutely disappointed! Room was dirty and smelled disgusting. Also had mice running around. We ended up leaving to another hotel around 1am.

We have stayed here a few times now. Check in is easy. It is quick to get to from the freeway and has many amenities nearby. The property is well kept with landscaping and has a nice area to take the dog out. They gave us poop bags and a bag carrier for the dog which was nice. Our only issue is that the hot tub is never hot enough. Although we requested they turn up the heat, it never gets hot enough.

I waited in lobby to check in for 15 mins, nobody was there. Then my bathroom door had dry blood splashes on it, was gross, then be prepared to hear a jack hammer noise when someone uses showers in near by rooms, woke up at 7:45am to the noise and then when I took a shower it did same loud noise and hot warm runs out fast

They were doing construction on the rooms above us. Much banging and loud noises at all hours of the day or night. They should have informed us of this and asked if we wanted another room. They just saw senior citizens and didn't care.

The room smelled of stale smoke, but there was no opportunity to switch. A used towel from a previous guest was left in the bathroom. Noise from the upper floor room was very loud stsrting early in the morning. Parking was a challenge. I wish i could say something more positive, but this was a disappointing stay.
