We love the loft room! Three adults can sleep in the same room and all be comfy, such an added bonus. Also, appreciated the complimentary Danish continental breakfast at Olsen’s Danish Village Bakery.

Vinland Hotel was located close to shopping and eating establishments along Mission Drive. This made it convenient to walk leisurely around town. Our room faced the mountains giving us a quiet night’s rest.

My check in experience was really unpleasant. My room wasn't ready until over an hour after checkin time and when I shepped all my stuff up the stairs and to my room, the key card didn't work. I had to go back to the front desk and get another set of keys. My room unfortunately was surrounded by the stairs and just about every guest that brought children. It was noisy. The coffee was really nice and a couple of the staff were truly excellent.

Great place to stay in Solvang! Close and walkable to everything. The hotel was decorated nicely and had nice amenities like free hot/cold coffee, hot tub and pool, and bar/restaurant with happy hour. The only complaints would be the internet/tv reception would keep disconnecting and the hot tub didn’t work properly (jets were down one night and the next night, the temperature was low). Besides that, it was a great stay and I would stay again.

Check in was easy. Roofing was being done on building one. We stayed in building two and the elevator was broken. Limited parking spaces. Room above us was extremely loud and could hear every step and rattle of the ceiling from 11pm to 4am each night of our stay. Sliding glass door was thin and could hear outside noises of people walking by and cars passing. Location was good - at the beginning of town and an easy walk to shops and restaurants.

AWESOME STAFF!!!! I was a photographer doing photoshoots in the surrounding areas. The staff was engaging and very helpful when I needed extra photography gear delivered to the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff were good sadly they had to cover for the ineptitude of management. The room is spartan taking minimalism to the enth degree. No end tables or coffee table. We did ask for one. No dresser or drawers. The water in the sink just dribbled out and there was a sewage smell. This was corrected. No housekeeping unless you stay 3 days. The lounge closed, therefore no food. What kind of place are you running. Time for some hard and fast thinking.

Great place to stay. A perfect hotel to walk all around Solvang. Front desk staff was kind and caring. Room was clean and I loved the balcony. Undercover parking was a bonus and the shower was amazing
