Westgate Myrtle Beach was a perfect pick for our vacation based on oceanfront location. We stayed 2 nights and everything was great, aside from our unswept room floor. Upon check in, after 6pm, we were told that housekeeping services was not performed daily but can be requested. Saturday morning we explained to hotel staff that our room needed to be swept and mopped. My sisters brand new pair of white socks were filthy after she took them off before bed on Friday night. Front desk staff apologized for the uncleanliness and stated that housekeeping would take care of it. After returning to the hotel Saturday evening, our room floor had not been swept or mopped. So we stayed another night walking around the room with dirt and crumbs all over the floor from the previous guest, apparently. It was extremely annoying hearing crumbled whatever under the bottom of my house shoes, especially knowing it came from previous guests. I tried not to let that disturb my stay but it did. As friendly and as the staff were, I don’t think I’ll stay at this property again because of the lack of care, concern and respect of my requests. We shouldn’t have had to stay 2 nights in the previous guests filth. That was extremely unsanitary. Please do better bc the next guest may not be as professional as I am.

It was our first time there and they upgrade our room to the oceanview for free! What I didn't like was that most outlets was not plug ables. But all in all our stay was great!

Good location but found two cockroaches and the people next to us were loud. Do not like the connecting doors. The staff was absolutely awesome and were very nice

The staff is very friendly but this place is time share place for owners. Is if you book u get the old part of the resort. It still was bad but needs a lot of upgrades. Called twice to make sure everything was going be open cause it was off season. Of course they said it would but when we get there its not. They had one bristo cafe which closed at 4pm and a sports bar which closed at 9pm. Thank god they had a restaurant acrossed the street called Friendly's. Now that place i would recommend. Myrtle beach is a required taste. No night life everything closes early in the off season. They did have several places on New Years Eve that had fireworks which was great. Several malls. The people are very friendly which made it the trip worth it.

I have stood in multiple Westgate this was my first time here. I honestly didn’t get the resort style feel in this place it was more like a hotel to me. Seems like they cater more to the owners than someone that just stays there. All in all would I stay again not sure but it’s right on the beach so that’s a plus. Well that’s my review of this Westgate resorts in Myrtle beach

I enjoyed my stay but I had a couple small problems I didn’t like the connecting doors or connecting rooms you can hear the people clearly in the next room and I’m sure they can hear me. I also think the shower pressure could be better and sink pressure could be better as well. The sink had 2 hots instead of 1 hot and cold (and was too hot to use).

You can discuss timeshare with them. They don’t bother you unless you sign up to hear about it. I was happy they didn’t hound us to sign up everyday. Nice quiet stay. We would return.
