Whiteface Farm Adirondack Bed and Breakfast

The owners Buck and Clea are amazing hosts. Their breakfast every morning is truly a treat!!! Whiteface skiing is only 5 min away with a car, and Lake Placid 9 miles. The roads are always cleaned after snowfall.

Buck & Clea We love your B&B, it’s one of our favorite, for sure. And we loved the way you take care of us, with all the extra treats ( even today in the lunch bag) and the delicious breakfast. We give your B&B a 10 . Great location for outback activities, we went skiën and horseback riding in the snow

This was my first time staying here, and I would definitely stay here again! It was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the homemade breakfasts were delicious! Buck and Cleo were very friendly, as were the other guests who I met during my stay. Easy check-in and check-out. Booked a room with a private bathroom. Close to both Lake Placid and Saranac Lake.

Clea and Buck were amazing hosts! This was such a cozy place to stay! Our breakfast was delicious and Clea provided us with plenty of options for stuff to do while we were in town! I’m grateful to have found this place and would definitely recommend it!

Buck and Clea are very friendly. We stayed in room 6 with a shared bathroom. The mattress was so hard and the pillows so thin that I could not get comfortable sleeping my first night, and hardly slept. The bathroom was small and I did not like the shower head. That said, we glanced in the rooms that had a private bathroom and those all looked really nice. There was also a good amount of road noise. Buck made good food and generous portions for breakfast. If I were to go again it would be in a room with a private bathroom and not room 6.

Perfect place to spend three nights for our anniversary. Breakfast was fantastic and we were made to feel like we were at home. Clea was very friendly and quite helpful. Highly recommend this B & B.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The owners make sure you have everything you need, gave helpful suggestions for food and near by hiking. The breakfast they provide is made to order and delicious! I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

This is a farmhouse with many years on it. It is convenient for outdoor enthusiasts to hike, bike, canoe, ski. An exceptional location for all of these. The house is comfortable, but guests need to realize it is a farmhouse once used as a farm. We enjoyed the hospitality and the accomodations.

We booked the suite since we were a group of 5. The suite had 3 rooms so we would have been quite comfortable but due to change of plans it was just us 3. The hosts were warm and welcoming when they greeted us. Breakfast was lovely each morning, and they provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing. At night we enjoyed sitting by the fireplace playing boardgames and cardgames and they kept the fire going and turned out candles after checking with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the rustic charm of this B&B filled with love, and the children are already talking about going back!

Cozy place, a lot space, very good breakfast. Friendly people. Rooms could be undated but overall a good place to stay

Buck, Clea, and Cass are very good at what they do; providing a friendly and intimate atmosphere. This was our 2nd time staying with them over the Thanksgiving holiday. My wife and I like the area for the endless hiking trails available. We continue to choose Whiteface Farm for the breakfast. I need breakfast to start my day and you won't find a better one anywhere. Clea is a credible resource for day plans in the area and the fireplace is so damn warm.

Always great to stay here! Our second time and we loved it just as much as the first time. Can’t wait to be back. The host are fantastic, breakfast delicious and the house cozy and inviting. Highly recommend!

The area around the property is just beautiful. It is fairly close to Lake Placid and Buc and Clea are a lovely couple. Unfortunately, the breakfasts did not live up to the reviews. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts around the world and were very disappointed with the bare minimum fare on offer. As well, the shower in our room didn't work, the fridge made sounds throughout the night and the hallway light flooded into our room so needless to say, it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. Also we could hear the cars throughout the night since we were fairly close to the 2 lane highway. The steps up to the 2nd floor also were very steep and difficult to navigate with luggage. We only ended up staying a couple of nights and would definitely not pay a return visit! Definitely not the relaxing stay that we had hoped for.

Great B&B. Fresh made breakfast in the morning. Owners are very nice. Close to many attractions around Lake Placid. Would definitely recommend!
