If you're going to both Carlsbad and Guadalupe Mountains, this is a nice spot to be closer than town. It is older but it was clean and comfortable without issues. Be aware that the restaurant across the street closes early, so you'll likely need to go into Carlsbad for dinners or have your own food.

This was a great value and comfortable. The showers could run a bit hotter and the blankets a little thicker but it was incredibly convenient to Carlsbad caverns.

This is a great value for the money and the best place to stay when visiting the caverns. This is an older budget friendly motel but the place is extremely clean and well kept. You are less than a minute from the road that leads to the caverns and just 20 minutes from town. Very quiet and relaxed place.

The Receptionist was awesome, very kind, helpful and welcoming!! The room was really nice and roomy, although the TV was not mounted on the wall, just sitting on the Dresser, which made it hard to watch from the Bed. My only complaint would be that the internet was really slow and almost unusable. Trying to watch a football game in chunk segments was rather annoying.

Big rooms and very clean

Pleasantly surprised at how big and spacious the room was. However, most of the outlets in the room did not work and there was no way to reset the GFCI. Also, the TV was fuzzy. The staff were kind though. If you’re looking for a basic place to stay after visiting Carlsbad Caverns, this place will suffice.

Very quite and very friendly

There was some miscommunications between Expedia & the hotel in regards to reservations. I booked 2 non-smoking king rooms online. Upon arriving, was given 2 so called double queen rooms. The beds were not true queen beds. I have a tall spouse and the bed was shorter. After some discussions, The hotel clerk was accommodating and graciously moved us into a smoking king room which turned out to be ok as it was clean smelling and had flooring instead of carpet. It was a very nice room. My other party stayed with the double queen room right next door. All in all, this is a really nice, clean and accommodating place to stay with a nice restaurant next door. We have stayed here before and will stay again if we are in the area. They just need to sync up with the 3rd party reservation sites on room availability so the traveler gets the room they reserved online. I absolutely recommend this hotel.
