I liked that our room had been recently renovated. The style is so modern looking and fresh. However it smelled too strongly of paint.
The lobby area smelled of smoke and needs some updating.

We were a family of four with a baby and toddler and stayed for 2 nights. Our last minute request for a crib was met. Betty and Dianne are a ray of sunshine. At a point I wanted to cancel reservations prior to our stay due to some bad reviews. I just wanted the best for the children and I can boldly say we all had a peaceful and wonderful stay.

The Whitman Motor Lodge is a hidden gem. The rooms are large and clean with nice furnishings. The room rates are very reasonable and you get housekeeping every day! That’s almost unheard of anymore in any of the larger chains. We loved it and will definitely be staying there again.
