Fantastic staff everyone so friendly and helpful

On our anniversary it was a treat. We enjoyed the stay immensely. Customer care was the cornerstone of the service. Pleasantly impressed with the little details: welcome gifts, robes, newspaper and access to CW. Well done!

An amazing stay!

The jacuzzi part of the tub was not working, Called front desk and was giving instructions but to no help, sent a maintenance to look into it and i was told thay it was not working at all, that the room was just a model room. He said the front desk should know that. At least that was what the guy said. Not sure why the room was still opened for occupancy, jacuzzi not in use.

Lovely hotel however our VIP did not get us an upgrade and there were plenty of rooms available

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I would have given it a 5 rating across the board if it wasn't for one exception. When checking out, I encountered an uncomfortable interaction from one of three front desk employees. While waiting my turn to check out, I could over hear a delightful conversation two of your employees were having with a guest. They were offering their assistance in helping solve a minor dilemma. I gladly waited my turn, not a problem. I thought it was a nice gesture from the two of them. When she finally noticed I had been waiting, that cordial gesture seemed to disappear. There was no cordial greeting or the slightest hint of an apology for not noticing me, but a response of, You checking out, yes, I replied. Her response, From this hotel. Now, I consider myself a pretty easy going, a-don't-read-to-much-into-it, type of person, but I found her tone somewhat demeaning, boardering insulting. I don't mean to rant, but It's truly unfortunate that it happened to be my last encounter with the wonderful staff at the Williamsburg Inn. It's important to remind your employee that every guest deserves to be greeted with a well mannered welcoming like, Hello, how can I be of service, type of attitude, no matter who. I also asked her about the additional resort fee. She replied "did you use the gym, or the valet parking". I stated, No. Well, there are other amenities that are included in the fee. I was ok with her explanations, but her condescending tone needs help.

While we enjoyed our first visit very much I do not think we will return for another visit. It is very convenient to CW and the walkability factor was huge. We ate an OK meal at the terrace room but the wait staff was very good. When we compare this visit to other National Historic Landmark Hotels we felt this property was not up to par. Few amenities however our room was spacious and very comfortable.

The experience was underwhelming. The entertainment system in the rooms is not up to date. There is not access to streaming services such as NetFlix.

We were not told we had turn down service. We left our pet in the room uncrated and did not receive this privilege.

The Inn is our favorite hotel! Super people and great place!

This is a graceful, peaceful, beautiful property with the loveliest staff. It is convenient to all things Colonial Williamsburg and William & Mary. You can walk everywhere, the golf course is beautiful and the spa is wonderful. Adrian & Andre at the front are the epitome of southern, friendly hospitality and charm. They embody all the lovely qualities of The Williamsburg Inn

I would highly recommend staying at Colonial Williamsburg Inn.

Our dinner meal in the Terrace Room was sub-standard. Food was not what it has been in the past and time from order to service was slow. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Check-in was slow. Front desk and in room dining was never accessible/available by room phone (only via text with was delayed with responses). Wet paint in hallways. No in room dining outside of breakfast. Nice inn but not a luxury hotel with amenities you are accustomed to for a luxury hotel. Not a value for the luxury costs.

The property was stunning, the staff was absolutely amazing, the food was fantastic and I look forward to visiting again.

The Bellmen were very accommodating and friendly. The Inn was very beautiful and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming We loved staying there and will return soon.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. The services from the staff were top notch. Our room was elegant. The bathroom was outdated but it was mostly clean. We found a clump of hair on top of the shower drain. It then made us question the cleanliness of the room. The service team at the restaurant and the quality of cuisine was superb. We enjoyed every morsel. Their desserts did not live up to their other dishes. We would definitely stay there again.
