The Watson Premium Halong Hotel

We stayed at The Watson for three nights. While the location isn’t particularly close to major attractions, it’s situated in a peaceful area. The staff, including those at reception and the bar, were friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The breakfast spread offered a good variety, though I personally found the Pho to be a bit salty. The pool was lovely, but unfortunately, the water was quite cold. Our room was spacious and comfortable. However, the door wasn’t soundproof, so we could hear construction noise from outside during the day. Thankfully, the work stopped at night, so we were able to sleep well.

I booked for my Korean boss. The boss seemed satisfied. The customers were luxurious and the hotel was not much affected by the storm. If I have the chance, I will come back.

I arrived 1 week after storm YAGY swept through Ha Long. I couldn't believe that after only 1 week everything returned to normal, the streets gradually became clean, many shops reopened. It's really admirable for the people of Quang Ninh. In the past, there was a Quang Ninh guy who flirted but didn't know how to appreciate it, now it's such a pity. Talking about the hotel, it's located in the center, about 10 minutes from Sun Harbor, so it's very easy to move around. Rooms: clean, nice view but the minus point is that the air conditioner is too loud. The receptionist is friendly, gentle, and helpful. The staff on the 2nd floor of the restaurant serve customers very enthusiastically and thoughtfully. My group of friends are all Taiwanese, my Chinese is still limited, the restaurant staff was very enthusiastic in introducing them in Chinese. I really had a very satisfying experience at this hotel.

Clean room, full amenities, restaurant, swimming pool and sky bar are all great. The staff are super friendly and dedicated.

Everyone when traveling, remember to read the room rules carefully. When I checked in, the staff only told me not to smoke, but after checking out, I was fined 2 million VND for bringing durian into the room even though I was not informed beforehand. So I feel that part of the fault lies with the staff and I am not satisfied at all. I hope the hotel listens to my comments.

The new hotel is beautiful, everything is ok, nothing to complain about. Right next to the hotel is the 198x coffee shop, quite chill.

Experience 3 days 2 nights at the hotel (2 couples & baby) + The Receptionist & Bellman staff are very enthusiastic, friendly and always support customers. The receptionists enthusiastically supported me to check in early + check out a little later (because my child got carsick); I asked the hotel to send my thanks to the male Receptionist on duty on August 23, 2024 at 9am & the female Receptionist on duty the same day at 12pm to support me when checking out, paying & resolving issues. I am very satisfied + The room is clean, tidy, with sea view. Has glass doors, balcony to the outside. Full amenities + Breakfast buffet. Diverse food & drink counter: salad, sticky rice, bread, beef stew, spaghetti, cold food... Main dishes & desserts change daily. On August 22, the main dishes were Grilled Chicken with Sauce served outside (quite delicious, easy to eat), Beef Pho, Fish Noodle Soup. Dessert: Yogurt with various cakes and fruits. On August 23, the main dish was replaced with Grilled Basa Fish (dry), Bun Suon Mang Chua, Pho Ga. Dessert: Fruit Dessert, Cake, Fruit (also changes daily) + On the evening of August 22, I had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel (Pavilion Restaurant) at 7:00 p.m. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and provided baby chairs. The food I ordered was Seafood Stir-Fried Noodles (fried noodles with eggs, vegetables, and lots of shrimp and squid. The squid was a bit chewy); Spaghetti with Minced Beef Sauce (my wife and baby ate it. My wife said it was okay, to her taste); Seafood Spring Rolls (fried until golden brown, hot and crispy, full of filling); Beef Pizza (full of filling). The food and price were both OK, the minus point was that when I first came, the restaurant had no customers so they didn't turn on the air conditioner, so it was very hot, my shirt was soaked. + On the evening of August 23, my wife went to the Spa at the hotel. It was quite okay, the staff was enthusiastic. There was a 5% discount so it was only 570k for a 75-minute full body massage. + Suggestion for the hotel is that the housekeeping staff should use walkie-talkies with cords to communicate with each other in the morning; when cleaning the rooms next door and the hallways, please "BE AS GENTLE AS POSSIBLE". For two consecutive days, the sound of walkie-talkies and the staff talking to each other outside was very annoying from early morning, waking me up :((

The hotel is spacious, clean and beautiful. The room is very ok everyone. I arrived early but the staff was very enthusiastic and helped me check in early. The receptionist was very welcoming.

Basically satisfied with the last vacation. The staff are all very friendly, professional and the infrastructure is comfortable and clean.

10 points, receiving time is 2:00 p.m. Check out at 11am but my house arrives at 1pm. The staff still arranges for early check-in. The staff is super friendly. Enthusiastic, delicious and diverse breakfast food. Adults and children both love photogenic swimming pools. In real life, it looks very small. not enough swimming. It's ok for children to play in water. On the app, it says a 15-minute massage, but in reality, the staff said the information was wrong so they switched to a 15-minute foot bath. If you want to use it, you should meet the staff on the 1st floor to get the coupon. For the rest, I think everything is ok. The plus point is that it's very close to the chip market. Opposite there are 2 large shopping areas. There are many delicious and reasonably priced restaurants around

Too great. Cheap price but high quality. The staff at the reception and security are so okay. Ha Long tourism has good service, cheap price, will come back many times.

The hotel is clean, modern, everything is new, nice view, cool room, enthusiastic staff, quite good breakfast buffet. If I have the opportunity to return to Ha Long next time, I will choose this place as a stopover.

Breakfast buffet was poor. It should fit for 3 star hotel. The staff didn't report left items as my kids forgot their toothbrushs. Rooms and facilities are for 3 star hotel plus. The hotel doesn't have enough seat for breakfast and nobody in the restaurant to help.
