Refund Okay

Overview

• Refund Okay is an additional product available for purchase with flight tickets.
• Refund Okay offers a refund of up to 80% of the ticket fare.

1. One Way Domestic up to USD 700
2. One Way International up to USD 1,700
3. Round Trip Domestic up to USD 1,200
4. Round Trip International up to USD 3,500

• Refund Okay must be purchased at the same time of your original flight ticket purchase.
• To receive the Refund Okay service, we will charge you a one-time fee (“Refund Okay Fee”) which will be calculated solely against the ticket price.
• Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email confirming your Refund Okay purchase.
• Refund Okay scheme is acceptable until 24 hours before the departure time. Refund requests submitted afterwards will follow the airline's standard refund policy. 
• Refund Okay Fee is non-refundable.
• Refund Okay cannot be rescheduled. If you reschedule your flight, Refund Okay will not be transferred to the new flight.

Refund Submission

• Refund Okay scheme is acceptable until 24 hours before the departure time. Refund requests submitted afterwards will not exercise the Refund Okay benefit and shall follow the airline's standard refund policy.
• In case the flight got rescheduled by the airline, your refund will be based on the original departure time. 
• Refund Okay is applicable for all refund reasons.
• Refund Okay is applicable only for the flight ticket, not including ancillaries (e.g., baggage, in-flight meals, baggage wrap)  
• Refund Okay can be requested for partial routes and passengers within the same booking.

Refund Payment

• If the airline does not issue a refund or your flight is non-refundable, we will refund 80% of the ticket fare to you.
• If the airline's refund is less than 80% of the ticket fare, we will refund the difference between 80% of the fare and the airline's refund amount.
• If the airline's refund exceeds 80% of the ticket fare, no further refund will be provided by us, as you will receive the full amount from the airline.
• If the airline offers a refund by way of a credit shell, we will process an 80% monetary refund to you, and the credit shell will not be used by you
• The refund from Refund Okay will be based on the actual ticket fare paid. Points, coupons, or add-ons (baggage, meals, or baggage wrap) will not be included in the refund amount.
• For the verification purpose, the refund payout shall only be processed after Traveloka has the duly approval from the airlines, which shall not be earlier than the departure date.

Refund Okay Usage Conditions

We retain the right to decline refund requests at any time if:

• The request does not meet the conditions outlined in the terms above. 
• Passengers have completed the airlines’ check-in process for their flight.
• The ticket which is requested for a refund has been used or flown.
• A refund request for the same booking has been directly made to the airline.
• Passengers have made any changes to the booking through the airline. Changes include but are not limited to changes in the passenger’s details (e.g. name, title) and flight routes.
• Traveloka detects any refund request or process deemed to be misused. Misuse of Refund Okay is defined as any event in which as per Traveloka’s sole discretion, the use or the process was assessed to be fraudulent or abused for commercial gain.
