We were really disappointed by this hotel, especially for how expensive it was (almost $700 for two nights). From the pictures, it looked pretty, new and modern. What we didn't realize was that it is located right off of a busy street and you can hear EVERYTHING, both in and outside of the hotel. We heard our neighbors flush the toilet, run the shower, walk around the creaky floors upstairs, and listen to TV. I heard the woman across the hall place her dinner order, a baby crying, someone else's alarm going off, a dog with a squeak toy (hotel is pet friendly), planes flying overhead, and cars, trucks and motorcycles in the parking lot and on the busy street. We were roused both mornings around 7:00 a.m. due to how noisy the hotel was.
Also, the parking lot is right outside of your window and the hotel does not have an elevator. We missed that fact in our research on Hotels.com. My friend had a physical ailment that made stairs difficult and we had a lot of luggage, so we secured a room on the first floor. That meant that when people stood right outside our window on the sidewalk, we could hear their conversation, and headlights were pointed into our window. There was no privacy unless you had your blackout curtains drawn. It looked like an old motel that someone tried to modernize but you entered your room from the inside. It was nice if you didn't look too close, but even the remodeling work was poorly done.
