Overall Ratings & Reviews National Hotel, An Adult Only Oceanfront Resort

The facilities were gorgeous and clean! The day we checked in the air conditioner was broken on the entire property, but Janayia, Natasha, and Dilan at the concierge were so kind and accommodating to help keep us cool under the circumstances. They checked on us and brought us fans and let us know when the facilities were fixed, even comped us breakfast and drinks for the inconvenience. The pool and lounge area is great to hang out - we didn’t even need to go downtown. Amazing stay!

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff

Very nice hotel, very quiet and truly adult only. The hotel has great pools, chairs and direct sunlight, walkout straight to the beach. Rooms were great and beds were comfortable. Really enjoyed staying here, will be back

While this is a trendy hotel in a good location for south beach - the rooms are very small and outdated . One elevator was out of service for our entire stay, leaving one small elevator for all hotel guests resulting in long waits .

This was our 2nd stay at the National Hotel. The location is perfect for our needs and we were able to walk everywhere. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and back up to the beach and ocean. Mostly we are impressed by the staff. They are particularly friendly and helpful. We were especially appreciative of the staff in the pool area who were always around to offer towels, food, and drink. And always with a smile! We will definitely be returning next year.

We LOVE the property, staff, food options, etc...! Staff was very kind to let my wife eat and drink before I arrived with the credit card to cover the stay and other expenses. We will be back. The only complaint is our room was next to a storage room and elevators so it was noisy at times. I'm surprised Expedia considers the a VIP stay?

We loving staying in South Beach and this hotel stay has always been wonderful.

Great for a couple!

Great pool

It was the first time I stayed in an adult only hotel, and it was definitely a lot quieter and more peaceful. They had two different pools and it was really relaxing and enjoyable to have a margarita while standing in the corner of the pool.

The service and food and drinks at pool were excellent! My only complaint was that there was only one small working elevator that was always over crowded. They should really consider getting the other elevator repaired.

The locution was very good staff were friendly the hotel had had very nice and relaxing.

My sister and I went to celebrate our Birthdays. We were staying 3 nights. The afternoon on Day 2, there was a medical emergency and we had to go to the ER. Understandably, we wanted to go home to our own doctor. The Assistant Director, Alejandra, gave us NO consideration for reducing the cost for the night we didn't stay. I've called her 4 times and no return call.

Overall a good experience

Everything was as advertised. We loved the beach access and beach service. The room was cleaned daily. The only problem we had was there was only one very small elevator working the whole time for a building with 11 floors.
