This might be one of my best stays yet. The location was stunning, the decor was gorgeous, the staff were friendly and attentive, and there was so much to do. The staff even brought a surprise birthday treat to our room. Our stay really felt like luxury. We can't wait to come back.

We booked a one night stay for my wife's 40th Birthday. We were extremely impressed with the friendliness of the staff, attention to detail with decor and the sheer level of luxury. Homewood has to be by far the best romantic get away we have experienced. Mixing the eloquence of a manor house with the relaxing indulgence of a spa.

Great small Manor House hotel and spa. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. We would stay again.

Really beautiful grounds surrounding the hotel, with lots of quirky features. It’s really convenient to get to from Bath city centre and a stunning escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Some of the room facilities do need updating though, basic things like the wardrobes have so many layers of paint on them that they do not close, one window wouldn’t open, the controls for the shower have been installed incorrectly (the hot/cold knob was actually the on/off switch and vice versa) and there were lots of marks and dings on the walls- the back of the bedroom door had a hole in that needed to be filled/painted for example. The sofa in the room also desperately needs a clean. The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff are lovely but it lacks finesse to make it a true 4 star hotel at the moment.

Everything about this place is perfect! The reception to the spa everything is so open and welcoming. The staff are super friendly and treat you more than just a guest at a hotel. The spa is incredible and the grounds are beautiful also.

Everything was great but there is one thing I have to criticize, the cleanliness of the room. It could definitely be much better and more hygienic, it created a situation for us that definitely did not give value for money.

Really enjoyed our stay here after Glastonbury! Staff were wonderful and were able to accommodate our late check-in, had a lovely breakfast the next morning and spent the day in the spa. It was the first day the new spa pool was open and we got to enjoy it briefly before it was closed - highly recommend the massages. Would love to come back and spend more time here next time!

This hotel unfortunately did not live up to it's expectations in a number of ways, however the most disappointing aspect was being served gluten after making staff aware that I am coeliac - I had suspicions that the meal served was unsuitable but had to confirm twice before they checked and notified me that it did in fact contain gluten. Thankfully I did not eat the food served. I would advise anyone suffering from an allergy to be incredibly cautious of eating here.

Friendly staff and very well situated hotel. We were able to do a lot of sightseeing in the area.Close to Bath for shopping and seeing the roman baths, royal crescent etc. Also close to wells cathedral and longleat safari park and stateky home. The hotel is very comfortable with luxurious but cosy rooms. The decor in the room is quirky and so pretty. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities you would expect. There is an outside and inside pool with hot .Also the sauna is available to book. The hotel grounds are very well cared for and look beautiful. The garden area is pretty with lots of comfortable tables and chairs if you want to eat or drink outside. All the staff are so helpful ,friendly and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble to help you enjoy your stay. The food - the hotel offers an excellent choice of menus.Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice and keeps you full for most of the day.Ther

Having stayed here back in 2020 and being blown away by this little gem, it was time to go back. We previously stayed in the Lux Hot-tub suite which overlooked the pool, which at night makes the most romantic setting for a proposal. A few things have changed at Homewood since then and all positive, they acquired the neighbouring house and added it to their boutique hotel - Mallingford Mews and this is where we stayed. Having been redecorated to the same very high standards as the hotel as soon as you walk in the door you feel the luxury and spot all the quirky little extras, the complimentary sweet area jars of sweets and hampers filled with crisps and muffins this is clearly very popular. We have 2 evening meals and as always the food was outstanding, the surroundings just get prettier and we can’t think of a more idyllic spot than the patio to sip cocktails and watch the world go by. Looking forward to our return trip!
