Hotel is way outdated compering to price. Also photos didn't reflect how rooms look like.

Great historic hotel in a great location.

We had a great time there - loved the location and service and it’s a current reminder of the grand past!

Parking was very confusing and it cost me a 1000 kr ticket. And the parking spot was right in front of the hotel. They could have done a much better job of customer service.

Nice, helpful staff from Reception to Housekeeping. I did enjoy staying here, but when I checked in, I was advised the room was ready. It became apparent that it wasn’t; basics like tea/coffee and toiletries had not been replaced from prior traveller. I also found some long black hair in between the mattresses, and it wasn’t mine. The hotel provides earplugs, which is good because there’s a noisy pub downstairs on the church side. Towels a good size. Has a heated towel rack that can be used to dry clothes you hand wash. No guest / self service laundry; just a paid laundry service but no price list supplied. Location is pretty good. Generous breakfast buffet.

Loved this property in terms of location, staff (front desk staff and bar tender Marcus especially). Location is perfect to see the sites of the city. Very safe and walkable. Loved the small side streets, park around Karnan Tower and the surrounding park with the views of the city and harbour. Only suggestion is attention to detail in the room (refilling the coffee station, removing a used glass and towel before check-in)

Upon check in, I asked receptionist where to park. She told me to first drive to garage 2 blocks away to ascertain availability, return to hotel to buy ticket to be placed on dashboard, then drive back to garage to park. When I asked for a second option in case first garage was full, she told me to park at the garage directly across from hotel for free which had at least 20 spaces available. Why didn’t she offer that first????

Staff are not helpful, friendly, or polite. The building is old and boring. There are better hotels for the same price close by.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, very central, good breakfast!

Rent och fint rum med supersköna sängkläder och handdukar. Väldigt bra utbud på frukosten. Bra förvaringsmöjligheter på rummet. Sängen var kanske lite i mjukaste laget och det var skönt att stå på en handduk i badrummet.

Vi frøs lidt i løbet af natten selvom vi havde sat blæseren i gang. Dog var den slukket om natten da den larmer. Sengetøjet havde desuden lidt pletter på sig

Trevlig personal, överlag okej. Rummet hade dock enbart två kontaktuttag på märkliga placeringar, vilket känns oerhört gammaldags nu när alla människor har mobiler. Vår familj försökte sova medan festkvällen pågick strax nedanför fönstren. Skrikande, bråkande, fulla människor, utan någon som helst ljudisolering i hotellets gamla fönster. Tyvärr blev det ingen sömn. Badrummets marmor kändes sterilt med ett iskallt golv. Frukosten var okej, gott kaffe, men varför i hela friden trycker man in en frukostbuffé i en smal korridor, där personalen dessutom springer ut och in till köket. Gör om, gör rätt.

Super hotel, gode værelser og morgenmad.

Vi har varit här tidigare och trivs i atmosfären på hotellet och i staden. Frukosten är väl tilltagen och personalen har ett trevligt och professionellt bemötande. Vi tog ett lite större rum och det kostar inte mycket extra för den bekvämligheten. De vi hade med oss vid detta tillfälle stormtrivdes och tänker även de komma tillbaka till sommaren.

Fint klassiskt hotell, toppen frukost. Enda anmärkningar är att sängen var lite knarrig och gammal. Men sov ändå bra.

Trevligt hotell i vacker välbevarad byggnad. Vi bodde i ett superior-rum som kändes väl värt de extra pengarna. Frukosten är god och serveras i fina lokaler. Överlag välkomnande och trevligt, vi kommer gärna tillbaka.
