Lovely and clean, very central

Staff not very welcoming, breakfast not great.and was not updated as to why we couldn't have dinner in hotel

Really good 2 night stay relaxing pool steam room etc overall would stay again

But rough round the edges ..needs a bit of tlc. On the whole my stay was comfortable and pleasurable. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was well presented. Room was OK and clean but a bit worn.

Very relaxing, just what we wanted

Photos are very mislead as apart from the bed (which was extremely uncomfortable), the room looked nothing like advertised, old and mouldy bathroom

it was very restful and our first time at scotland hotel we will be back

Happy with stay however not being able to check in until 4:45pm is inconvenient. Old style hotel in need of some flooring (in particular) needs updated. Good proximity to town and staff friendly.

Family stay to visit a local event . Good value for the money totally met our needs .

We had two nights at the hotel , first time taking our sons to Pitlochry! We had a great time! The only criticism is the room was far too hot, we had to put all the radiators down and keep windows open and the double bed was very firm, bit too firm I think! The boys loved the swimming pool

Stayed for the 3rd time and you can really see the difference in the hotel. There have been a lot of changes and well needed upgrading. I was in two minds about staying here again as dont feel like you get value for money and it had been really dated the last few years we have stayed but I am glad we did. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the hotel on this stay, it was a lot better. It may just be your luck with the room you get, our tripple room was lovely. The only down side was the shower didnt work very well in this room, didnt report it as we used the bath and the pool showers. The pool area is excellent, the water was nice and warm, a bit too much chlorine maybe causing stinging eyes. All the staff were lovely and the breakfast was great. Will definitely be back again.

Location

Hotel is well located within walking distance of everything in town. The hotel is dated and our shower was poor with a broken shower screen and very poor water pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant having the lamb casserole, which was very good. An alright hotel but does need an uplift and better maintenance.

Location was great. Easy to get onto Pitlochry high street. Poor rating as the cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory. There was black mould and soap scum over the bath and mouldy crisps under the bed.

The spa staff were very friendly, just wish I had researched the spa amenities earlier. Wish I had taken advantage of them.

Got to be there early to get parking , but got parked up the street a bit

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Pitlochry, with shops, restaurants and bars all around. We had a nice big room with a great shower. Breakfasts had lots of choice and were pretty good. As the hotel restaurant was fully booked in the evenings, we ate once at Victoria's nearby. Great hotel.

Great stay within walking distance of the restaurant and theatre. Cosy . Nice swim in the pool when we arrived after swift checkin. Such a beautiful place to walk even in cloudy weather.
