Rooms are sparse but functional. I appreciated the private bath and courtyard view. Very peaceful. Fantastic meeting room. Food quality and service bordered on abusive. I skipped most meals even though I had paid for them and either went hungry or walked to pizza. Great coffee bar. I wish it were open more. Front desk service always terrific. Thank you.

Loved my stay here at Cittadella Ospitalita! The single room with private bathroom I had was perfect for my 3-day stay. It's a short walk to the Basilica di San Francesco and right in the historic center that you can walk pretty much everywhere. The staff were very gracious and kind, the included breakfast was nice, and I love that there's a fountain for filtered and fizzy water in the dining room so you can fill your own water bottle whenever. And the view outside my window was just absolutely beautiful! I would stay there again the next time I visit Assisi!

Love this place! It's my preferred spot in Assisi. Staff are friendly and helpful, the location can't be beat, and the vibe is one of Christian peace.

Excellent place, great location with peaceful energy. Workers were very friendly. The view from our balcony was spectacular as well as the singing of birds. We only had breakfast and it was very good. There is an art gallery in the place, a library and a chapel for those like me who meditate. The rooms were adequate and very clean, including the bathroom. A general sense of spirituality and tranquility, characteristic of St. FRANCIS. We will return to this place in the near future.
