Well, my stay was prima. But a question: I have had ten stays at hotels, but where is my free stay? I had to pay full for this elevent stay also.

We stayed in the cabin next to the boat dock. The view was beautiful and relaxing. The staff was nice and helpful. Even though it could accommodate 5 people, the space was tight for 4 people. There were not enough clothes hangers and the soap dispenser did not work well. It would be helpful if the front desk had local hiking trails map. They do have biking map for sale.

We only did a night here and had to leave early next morning. I had breakfast included in our stay. When checking in I mentioned leaving early-before breakfast started so she had kitchen prepare a breakfast for us to go! It was great! Staff was very friendly and so helpful, would have been nice to stay longer in the area.

Was very happy with this place for a family stay. Good playground for kids and a lot of activities in the area.

It was a good value. The amenities are few, bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. the sofa was not clean, but the price was low. Lærdal is a really nice stop! And the staff at the ferri was very accommodating.

This is primarily for campers, we had one of the cabins. Property is in a breathtakingly beautiful location. Cabins are nice, kids and adults separate, nice sitting area and porch. Downers: WiFi was having problems and we had to walk to the office to connect. No shower curtain, and water covered entire bathroom floor.

Staff was helpful and the location is fine. The mattresses and sofa bed were not very comfortable. Light blocking curtains could also be considered (in summer at least).

Bed and pillow in hotel was not great and shower needed an update. Restaurant was very good actually as was the service from head chef and hotel staff. Waitress and waiter seemed stressed out and rushed but not attentive, head chef had to pick up the slack and was very nice and personable. The campground seemed nice.

A very nice place. A mix of apartments, cabins and places for tents and campers. Very friendly staff. Beautifully located.

Basic caravan park cabin - old tv, no kettle, have to pay for hire of sheets and towels, thin curtains, no blinds.

Laerdal is a beautiful small town in the shore of the Sogne Fjord. To say that the scenery was breathtaking would be an understatement. The weather was unexpectedly hot and the cabin had no air conditioning other than opening the windows. The rooms cooled down sufficiently by bedtime to make sleeping comfortable. However the bathroom was like a sauna. In the morning we discovered a thermostat that heated the floor had been turn on high. That was the only negative about our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wifi worked very well. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and I would probably stay there again if the opportunity presented.

We stayed in a studio apartment with 3 beds. The third bed was a rollaway cot and quite low and squishy. The shower was hot and good water pressure. The apartment was perfect for us to make a pot of coffee in the mornings and cook some meals. We didn't have a fjord view, but even the view of the camper area and town with the mountains in the background was beautiful. We were just a 1 minute walk to the water's edge of the fjord and the sunsets over it were stunning! Great location for the fjords if coming from Oslo with a car for a short 3 day trip. Easy day trips to Flam, Gudvangen, and Kaupanger.

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin. It was nice, but very plain. The best thing is the view once you step outside.

Good location; trails in the mountains were good for younger ones. Walks in the city were what we enjoyed as the more "senior" set.
