Location is very central, near the shops and restaurants and bus stop 3 for all your pickups and drop offs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room and breakfast were adequate, although room was quite cool with heat mainly coming from a great towel roll in the bathroom. Shower room was nice with molten brown as a nice treat. At one end of the hotel you can hear the live music downstairs until 2am at the weekend. We would stay again.

Great Hotel, perfect location for the Bus Transfers to the airport and downtown. We did not use the facilities of the hotel as we where out all the time, but room was nice and right next to a bakery for breakfast if you want something less expensive in the morning. As down town there is merriment noise into the early hours to be heard if you need the window open like we do, fine with treble glassing closed. Definitely would go back.

My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend stay at the Apotek Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and cozy. Convenient to many of the restaurants, bars and stores. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at this renovated and perfectly situated hotel, which is in the heart of the center and walking distance from notable locations and restaurants. The staff helful and friendly. Highly recommend!

First of all the rooms here are cramped. There is no parking on the property, you have to park at the government center. One of the nights that we stayed they were doing construction and a strong smell of chemicals filled up the room but we were unaware of this. They did move us to another floor. The breakfast is good.

We definitely enjoyed our stay, the breakfast buffet is definitely delicious. Accessible to the bus tours and restaurants. Highly recommended!

The best restaurant in Reykjavík in my opinion also by the name Apotek Is accessible through a door, no more than 10 feet from the elevator. Pedestrian mall in many shops are within very easy walking distance. There is no dedicated parking or street parking but there is easy parking available at the City Hall garage about a three or four minute walk very upscale hotel highly recommended.

The Front desk agent who checked me in was excellent, funny and generally the best first impression I could have received.

I had a very good stay, will go back when I am again in Iceland. The breakfast is very good and so is dinner. The room was clean and well appointed, the hotel is in a perfect area, all walkable and buzzing in the evening hours.
