I had booked this hotel as a stop over on the way back to the UK from Stuttgart. I knew the reception shut at 9pm, I also knew they had a fast check-in machine at the hotel. I had tried to contact the hotel with a question about parking during the day and within reception hours but always a message saying the hotel was not available. I emailed them also but again, no reply. I arrived at 11pm to find the car park full but managed to park in a car park next to the hotel. I also notice the traveller caravans parked up opposite. Tried to use the fast check-in machine but it did not recognize the itinerary number given by Hotels.com. There was no way of contacting anybody as no staff were at the hotel. I also tried B&B help but again no answer. My only alternative was to leave and find and pay for another hotel, which it what I did. Hotels.com took up my complaint the next day but they could not get a answer on the phone from the hotel either! Eventually they got hold of the hotel, who told them they would not issue a refund of the payment for the room I had made in advance. Just to top it all off, they sent me the access code 2 days after the date I was due to stay. Since then they still have not answered any emails. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else if you were thinking of using this hotel!
